Royal Apollo Affiliates Removes Termination Clause Issue

Royal Apollo have removed a termination clause which could be viewed as predatory. This is in response to the AGD Certification team’s evaluation of their terms.

TERMS UPDATE, TERMINATION

Termination
The duration of this Agreement will begin on the Effective
Date and will continue for a period of 24 ( Twenty Four ) months ( the ” Initial Term” ) unless or until terminated by either Party in accordance
with this clause 8 of this Agreement.

Upon the expiry of the Initial Term , this Agreement shall be renewed unless terminated by either Party in accordance with clause 8 of this Agreement ( the ” Renewed Term”) .
During the Initial Term , this Agreement shall be terminable by either Party giving the other party no less than thirty ( 30) days a prior written notice , such notice not to expire until the last day of the Initial Term . Any time during the Renewed Term , this Agreement shall be terminable by either Party giving the other Party no less than six ( 6) months written notice .
Without derogating from the provisions of Sections 8.1 , 8.2.

Summary: This change ensures that the terms are not time-limited.
