Search Intent: Target the Right Keywords and Make the Most Money

Search intent has to do with the reason why players conduct a specific search in search engines.

1. It obviously has a major impact on conversions.

(Players searching for a specific keyword such as "bet365 bonus codes" usually convert better than players searching for more generic keywords such as "online casinos")

2. Since most igaming affiliates receive revenue share commissions, search intent also has a major impact on how much money we can expect to make.

(Players searching for certain keywords are likely to spend more money than players searching for other keywords)

Let's assume that the quality of content, user experience, difficulty of ranking and potential traffic for all below searches is equal.

Which kind of search intent would you then target in order to make the most money?

Generic searches: "Online casino", "Betting sites", "Bookmakers"...

Game specific searches: "Online roulette", "Online blackjack", "Online poker"...

Tips and strategies: "Betting tips", "Roulette strategy"...

No deposit bonuses: "No deposit bonus", "Free spins no deposit"...

Generic bonuses: "Casino bonus", "Free spins", "Free bets" (may require deposit)...

Brand specific bonuses: "Bet365 bonus code", "Leo Vegas bonus code" (Brand + bonus code)...

Brand specific reviews: "Bet365 review", "Leo Vegas review" (brand + review)...

I highly doubt anyone will give away their "money making" SE secrets, which, is essentially what your asking.

This is true but only if you're looking for average players and you also have to promote that particular brand in order to get some leads.

On the other hand when you wanna catch some whales you have to optimize for generic search terms too. But as @AussieDave said don't expect to get a list of golden keywords.

Honestly I would be amazed if anyone would even consider giving you that much insight into their KW strategy as Dave mentions.

As you build up your reputation here and make some good contacts, then maybe then they will be willing to share what works for them or not.
