Hi,
getting links takes forever and is a shit load of work
At the same time it very important.

have anyone ever tried buying these SEO link packages. Pay USD 199 get a link package. pay USD 299 get a bigger one etc...
do they work; can they be trusted?

No and No. Those SEO link packages are 99% garbage. 199 dollars is nothing, so you will get next to nothing. They are using there own private blog network who is full with links/paid blogs or they will put you on bullshit/hacked websites. Chances are that within are year you are working (or someone else) to get the links removed / disavowed.

You want to pay for links, that's fine. But choose the links yourself. Ask them how much it costs, negotiate and pay that price. Don't have the time to do it yourself? You can hire a student who will do this process and pay him or her 10 - 20 dollars extra per bought link. You choose the links, anchors, the pace of placement, so you are in control. And pay - like casino's are paying affiliates - only for results.

Would you pay $199 to those sites who offer 25K in gambling traffic? I doubt you would. Same rule applies for links. Spammy links is what you don't want, but that's more than likely what you'll get. As others have said, control your own backlinks. If you don't have the time, hire a reputable person to acquire them.

$199 is real and acceptable price but for single backlink. IF someone is offering you a package for that price, most of the time its bullshits and there is big chance your site to be penalysed by big G

I've looked into it. Looks like about 10k/month for anything resembling decent. Even then, seems tough to work out.

Short of testimonials on affiliate programs I can't see a viable way to build backlinks to a Casino affiliation site. I'm not scared of a bit of hard work but I need to be pointed in the right direction.

How do you go about finding sources for backlinks?

Sorry if I'm mistaken but seems to me, your trying to find a cheap, easy and quick way to gain High-Quality backlinks. The aforementioned concepts are akin to chalk and cheese.

It's good your asking questions, but it seems, the fundamental answers given, are not registering the Big Picture for you.
