All my affiliate life i thinked that organic traffic is the best source of traffic for affiliate. But some time ago i talk with owner of one affiliate program. This is large affiliate program with many brands, hundreds active affiliates and targeting on many markets. And i was very impressed then he tell me that top affiliates in his affiliate programs is Media Buyers.

I never think that guys who buy push or pop-up traffic may make more money than affiliates with seo traffic.

What you think about this?

Do they also do PPC? Some big affiliates just run PPC and Google Ad campaigns

Push traffic, pop-up / click-under traffic.

About PPC - is they still alive? As i know PPC was very popular years ago. I start work as affiliate many years ago, buying PPC traffic. On those days PPC bought traffic from doorways/blackseo masters and resell it to advertisers. Of course quality of those type of traffiic was lower that google ads, but it convert. But now, all these types of PPC closed.

Definitely media buyers make more, hence they have big budgets. not only pop, push, infact native and display work really good as well

Which native and display advertising are available for casinos?
I had some experience buying pop and push traffic without any success, might give it an additional try after this thread though!

Listened to a pitch from native advertising agency back when I was working in B2B tech, the rates sounded quite cheap. For those of you who have experience on media buying, how large test campaigns (in terms of clicks) you would run before making conclusions on the ROI?

Can someone better explain to me what "media buying" means in this context?
