My site's nearly a year old, and there are a few things that niggle at me, but maybe it's just me!
Any feedback will be appreciated.

Personal impression:
- Dont really like a black background, looks more agressive if you know what I mean.
- The popup thingy on the left is distracting, it keeps popping up when I navigate to another page, super annoying :)
- Website title is to broad in my opinion " Slot Machine Tips, Reviews, Cheats, Methods, Strategies and Ratings" I would focus on a maximum of 3.
Technical:
- I searched for a <h1> tag, buy couldn't find it! The title is a <h3> tag, it really should be <h1>. If the theme makes the font size too big, just wrap your text in a div and add the right font-size in your css stylesheet. (On a second look I see you use cufon, dont like it myself, but I dont think it will affect seo, not sure though)
- I would add a responsive version for mobile phones, WPTouch Pro is very sleek!
- The url for the 'roulette' page is "http://gamblingjoe.com/slot-machines/fobt-reviews/" what does fobt mean?
- Your title tag is "Slot Machines | Slot Machine and Casino Gaming tips, reviews and ratings." I dont think it makes much sense to add 'slot machines' twice in the title tag.
Thats what I can see for now :)

The background doesn't bother me, though it would be far less disjointed to maintain the bg image throughout or to go for a plain bg color.
I wouldn't go black (#000) though, instead opt for something like #151515

Coenie has pretty much covered the tech seo side of things. I will add, there is no meta description tag. With the little amount of home page text, I'm not sure if recommending your other sites in this text, would do you any favours with Google.

I did locate a H1 tag, though, like your first H3 tag, both contain an exact copy of your home page title tag. Also the <div> in the H1, didn't check but it seems you've used the CSS display:none
That trick workeda few years back but it doesn't now.

A piece of free advice. A lot wordpress theme's claim to be SEO optimised - sadly they are not. I found that out the hard way, which annilated a perfectly, previously well ranking, site.

I agree with much of what everyone else has said. That ad running on the left margin of the
site is a bit annoying. I've never liked those ads that follow me as I scroll down a webpage.

You might want to use two background colors for the web site. For example, you could have
the actual content section of the site use a white background, while the surrounding area
outside of the content would use a black background. This would make your content stand out.
With everything black on the page, nothing really stands out to catch my attention.

Nice site although I don't like dark templates. The bright version you use in bingo section (http://gamblingjoe.com/slots/betfred-bingo/) is much better in my opinion. Also you must work on call to action parts of page. For example on this Betfred bingo page you have a link to Betfred bingo only as image (170px × 46px) mixed with Skybingo and Ladbrokes and one text link on the bottom of page.

You have a great structure and lots of content. I feel that the top casino icons at the start page makes the site abit messy, try to make them more clear. The idea of having games right at the start page is interesting, how well do they convert?
