Yes they must be stealing players as there is no activity regarding previous referred players ; these have been disappearing for mysterious reasons...even new players do not last long.... $25 commission for the previous month sure....

South Africa based - always wondered if they were connected (errr owned), by you know who... Not like we haven't been stooged before, by these groups owned by the same entity, right. Sounds like their adpoting Wagershare (oops I mean Buffalo) tactics.

Blast from the past BUT how true were my words:
http://www.gpwa.org/forum/stealing-players-thru-cross-marketing-192167/p2.html#post614902
You'd be very hard pushed not to get an incline in traffic due to increased, links, long tails and other off-site promotions that most affiliates do these days. Hence income should increase not take a radical decline (depending of course on the market your promoting to).

Reiterating, I believe unethical cross marketing is more prevalent than most affiliates believe.

What used to be one of the best casino brands years ago has been turned upside down. I have been hesitant to post about Star Partner in public as I did not refer any customers to them in a long time, have a small customer base with them and was planning to give this operation another try with a new project. However, the most recent developments as well as countless similar complaints should no longer be ignored.

Cross promotion:

This issue was initially discussed a few years ago in the thread above, as pointed out by Moonlight Cat. I have been a VIP customer of Vegas Partner Lounge casinos in the past and received emails with links to their sister casinos that did not contain tracking tags. I recently contacted Star Partner to find out if any customers were cross-promoted but was assured that all customers are properly tracked. Nevertheless, my most relevant VIP customer mysteriously disappeared after supposedly winning large amounts on multiple occasions. However, he supposedly continued playing at their sister brands under a different affiliate tag, as I was informed upon request. Furthermore, the retention of their customers in general has always been below average.

Missing statistics:

After the merger of Star Partner to the MyAffiliates platform earlier this year I received a manual credit for accumulated commissions. However, this amount did not match any records as the old Star Partner interface did not display any earnings or activity during the months these earnings were accumulated in.

Quarantined customers are no longer visible:

The terms and conditions of Star Partner explicitly state: "All players placed in quarantine will be visible for Affiliates to view within the profit reporting section in Star Partner." Unfortunately this is not happening anymore. Quarantined customers as well as quarantined amounts are no longer visible since the launch of MyAffiliates. I am unsure if only my account is affected by this.

Accumulation of quarantined amounts for transferred customers:

VPL closed some of its old brands (Miami Paradise, Sun Vegas, Slots Royale, etc.) after which their customers were transferred to sister casinos. There is nothing wrong about this action but what happened afterwards is not mentioned anywhere in the Star Partner T&C.
  • In a particular case the quarantined value of a player (-14k) was transferred from a previous casino to their new account. This is not stipulated anywhere in their T&C.
  • Moreover their new account already had a quarantined value (-18k) attached, which was added on top of the transferred amount of -14k. Where is this mysterious balance coming from?

From memory when Starpartner closed casinouk.com & sunvegascasino.com & others some time back they gave next to no notice. Obviously it was very well planned as they had their own affiliate portals up & running immediately the casinos closed scooping up all the redirected free traffic. The email they sent about the closures was titled something like “exciting news” some like me did not even read it as they were always sending out rhetoric mailers of just BS overload. Funny how their spin doctors could call a closure of several casinos “exciting news” LOL…

Another reason why the Starpartner affiliate program is possibly performing so badly these days is that they are concentrating on their very own affiliate sites. Not happy with being just an affiliate program they are now in direct competition with all of us these days. The casino come affiliate sites casinouk.com & sunvegascasino.com do not appear to have changed hands since the casinos closed, so it is good bet that Starpartner aka Go North http://w3bin.com/hoster/20164 are operating these affiliate portals plus how many others they are running is unknown. With all the players they have on file and continue to receive (thanks to affiliates) makes for one great marketing database they can use for the other casinos they list on their own affiliate sites.

The casinouk.com affiliate portal owners also appear to be associated with the domains of the likes of gamingclub.com luckynugget.com spinpalacecasino.com etc, http://who.is/website-information/casinouk.com

As said a whole bunch of sneaky tricks from this program at least they are consistent at that.....

The same for me. Since the platform change, I do not see players.
I asked for my former players. I was told they were not playing.
Before they played every month.

Given what we know now, I dare say the majority of MGS (stand-alone) casinos, are directly connected to back to the Moshal's.
These would exclude... MGS casinos owned by Rewards Group and 32Red Plc.

Yes, those affiliate portals were up immediately right after the sudden closure of the old casino brands. Considering how big some of these casino were some time ago, Go North must have sucked in a large amount of free traffic through their URLs.

The number of complaints about lost customers and horrible retention is enormous. This cannot be coincidence with a group as big and experienced as Vegas Partner/ Go North.

So is anyone of you still able to view the list of their quarantined customers including quarantined values?

Can't see any of this data anywhere.....
Star Partners have probably (ok lets be honest they have) de-tagged many thousands of players & placed them on the house account program (most likely) or have they placed on them on their very own personal "special AM account / s or friends accounts". Too many affiliates with the same issues equals next time you shake hands with anyone from Star Partner just check to see if your watch is missing. No matter where the current or past affiliate managers of Star Partner end up employed i will refuse to have anything to do with them as their all TAINTED - so put that on your resumes now.

Thanks for your input. I would be surprised if anyone can view the list of quarantined players anymore, as stipulated in Star Partner's terms.

Star Partners are currently investigating all the problems aka "funny business" LOL...it would be like my Labrador keeping guard over the KFC (have some serious trust issues on this).
In reality if they could have got away with it (& they have not) it was a win win for them, affiliates have been paying for all their ever increasing portal expansions. We have been funding someone that is trying to put us all directly out of business.
Some funny new posts about them from Leopold http://www.gpwa.org/forum/starpartner-stealing-detagging-players-226827/p2.html

It has been another month and all of the questions I raised earlier in this thread remained unanswered. In fact, I already contacted them about this much earlier.

I have not done anything about this whole issue but this place obviously can not be trusted anymore one bit. It is mind-boggling that a group that used to be market leading a decade ago turned into this. At the same time I am glad this all came out before I gave them another try.

Either way, I contacted Star Partner once again and will post all details in public in case I do not hear back any time soon.
