In light of the recent events of affiliates showing distrust of affiliate programs, partially the un-tagging of large players etc.. I thought it would be interesting if we could all list any affiliate programs who they know have NOT un-tagged or had unexplained long time player accounts being closed..( due to self exclusion)

Over the last 10 yrs we have had programs who we THOUGHT we could trust to maintain our big fish and high rollers but for some reason or another these players just go away! So, I will list to you the programs I work with who have in 2 yrs time still managed to maintained my high rollers... Whales I cannot give you because they always seem to go away to the deep blue beyond..

1. Intertops
2. Earn Affiliates
3.Jackpot Capital
4. Rewards
5. Slots Vendor

That's it and very sad I had to to remove Go Wild from my list....

Well, it's impossible to know for sure, but in this instance I mainly trust:
  • AffiliateLounge
  • EarnAffiliates
I have had high rollers for years at those programs.

I've been at this for about 10 years and had about 5 mega whales and 10 mini whales just go bye bye one day. I notice that it happens when they change platforms or reconfigure their affiliate site. Or in the case of best casino partners shut down (one person would lose between 50-100,000 a month) and you have no idea where they ended up. A mini whale vanished during a reconfigure in june - they said it was because they had a disagreement about a sports bet and they closed their account - coincidence? Or an affiliate program puts in a high roller clause and the player never seems to bet again - another great coincidence ?

Well, that's not good, but I think this thread is about which programs we actually TRUST with high rollers ;)

If i see get a high roller I don't even want to bring that player to attention of the affiliate program - so I can say I trust NO program 100%- if you do you'll get burned sooner or later - One piece of advice for those who are new or have yet to have a whale - Don't spend all the money - save save save - that rainy day will come sooner than you think

Vera&John Casino (PlainPartners) definetly. I see many good players signed up in 2011 still playing.
I also have to say, I love the Egass Affiliate platform.

Yes, I have to totally agree with this.
I have had a few "mini whales" come and go over the years - but none have apparently stuck around for more than a couple of months.
Whether they have simply moved on, or whether there is something underhand going on, it is impossible for me to know.

So in this respect I don't trust any program 100% - and I certainly don't spend (or plan to spend) any money I have not actually received yet.
In fact, I'm a bit of a pessimist in this regard - I always expect my income from this business to suddenly stop, which I why I work 7 days per week trying to make sure this doesn't happen.

I haven't had a whale since Lloyd was at Brightshare. But I can say unequivocally that they did marvels with my (medium) high roller (actually a few of them). They even got them playing at other BS casinos at the time and tagged me over. I was impressed. Not that I would trust BS now - I would not... but with Lloyd at the helm, they were stellar.

Not sure this belongs here... but I wanted to join in and it's all I have :)

Bet365 is one of them. I have a medium size whale playing for more than 2 years. I had even 4k+ deposits /day from this player and most of the times he loose. It's hard to get any new players for this program and I know they have negative carry over but overall, this is the program I trust the more this days!

I too trust Bet365 - but I hate NCO.
I would rather promote a program without NCO that I trust 90%, than one with NCO that I trust 100%...
(Being in the red for more than 2 years does that to you)

I have had earnings of over 1k monthly in:
BettingPartners - Have had a few good loyal players for several years
AffiliateEdge - Always have decent earnings, I have had large players in the past that stuck around for a while..
AceRevenue - Have had a few good loyal players for several years
Gwages - I had a nice player for years and they seemed to stop playing about eight months to a year ago.
Firebrand - Had a great player for about 1.5 years until I think they removed them a few months ago (now closing down..)

Those are the programs that I earn with every month.. Trying to get some non- US facing traffic going, but it seems to be much harder..

Maybe also a good question if you have more trust in specific affiliate systems. I can imagine it would be more safe to work with a known system brand instead of a custom build one?

In the end it's the casino that store and manage the data, so if they wanna be evil it really doesn't matter what affiliate system they're using.
The casino is the client of the affiliate system provider, not us (affiliates).

Edit: Or maybe you mean secure as in against hacking?
Sure big names usually have better security, as they have more clients and bigger budget. I also don't see anything wrong with using custom solutions. As long as it's all stored correctly.

I once had problem resetting my password for a network and contacted my AM on skype, he then just sent it to me, in plain text.. That's a big NO. NOT a secure system!
You always hash/salt your users passwords before storing them, which pretty much works like a 1-way encryption.
Then next time you try to login the system should do the same thing with your inputted password, then compare it to the one in the database.
So the password is never stored in the database. Keep that in mind if you ever, at any site, get your password sent to you in plain text when you try to recover it. If someone gets hold on that DB you'd be screwed.

yes, I always self debate on whether I should inquire about a player or not.
For the most part if I can see a whale's deposits, I look to see the deposit pattern, if the amounts tail off over x amount of time I can conclude they just got tired of spending.
