My commission at the Lotter completely trashed. Talking about factor 15-20 lower than it was before. Always was steady.

Anyone else seeing the same? I see it both at the "new" Lotter program and the old commission I get from My Lotto.

Eg. My revenue jumped from 500 to 10,000 at one program.

I thought that I'd done well - but in fact it's just one player going mad. So I will probably be back to 500 next month. So a whale can have a big impact.

They are. Even with this numbers they still are. Competitors like Multi Lotto, Jackpot.com and Lottoland do offer other gambling products, like scratch cards and slots. That might make a difference. With $100 you're playing lottery week in, week out, but at a high variance slot you'll trash it in 10 minutes. The Lotter does just lotto. There are a lot of clones appearing, but they offer worser prices and do not have the name the Lotter has.

I get data per transaction. It's lottery, so for example a transaction of $ 400 (commission about $80) is already quite something. It means that people subscribe for more drawings. Most people spend less and do just 3 tickets for the Powerball draw or something. There are ups when it's a Powerball of 1B+ or when there's media attention about draws in the Spanish Christmas lottery. Besides that it was always quite steady. Also winnings are not deducted. Casino commission is quite volatile, because people win sometimes big amounts. Especially if you're having whales. Whales might lose a lot, but also win a lot. Somebody playing € 100 / spin at high variance slot, can win € 100.000 + in a spin and way more in a good streak.

But back to the Lotter. It was always quite steady, besides the mentioned ups.
