Thoughts On First Look Games?

Hi All,

Whats everyone's thoughts on First Look Games? Its a platform the connects the game developers with the publishers/affiliates. I think is a great product for affiliates to find all the game content in one place, it will be even better once they get some more developers signed up.

They currently have: Iron Dog Studios, 1x2gaming, Leander Games.

Thanks for the mention Mel. We welcome feedback from affiliates, so I'm looking forward to hearing people's thoughts. We are in the process of adding another game studio as I type this, so stay tuned... and we ought to have a couple more on board by the end of the month

I actually signed up. I think it is a brilliant Idea. But A agree with BetonlineUK it cannot become really powerful until more games are added. Furthermore, I entered the Wai-Kiki demo link and it is not working. I assume that how the link should work is that you can download the pictures put it on your website then use the game link provided and put it on your websites so your customers can try it for free on your website on the PC, Mobile or Laptop. Is that correct?

Online slots developer 2BY2 Gaming has signed up to First Look Games, the platform that provides a direct link between game studios and online casino affiliates.

2BY2 Gaming joins developers, including 1X2 Network, using the platform to share with publishers up-to-date, compliant information and assets for their games.

The developer can now upload its full portfolio to the First Look Game Library, including game information sheets and marketing assets that affiliates can download and use to create content for users.

The developer has also signed up to First Look Premium, allowing it to upload game information and assets two weeks prior to launch, offering a select group of affiliates a “first look”.

Tom Galanis, founder of First Look Games, said: “We are thrilled by this partnership with 2BY2 Gaming and believe our platform will offer the developer tremendous value”.

“2BY2 Gaming is a well-established and thriving premier game studio which seeds its content through aggregators and will hugely benefit from the direct exposure First Look Games gives them within our publisher network.”

Bob Schuijt, founder of MB Consulting International and the exclusive online distributor of 2BY2 Gaming video slot content, said: “The challenge as a game supplier is that we have little to no control on how and to what extend operators promote our games.

“By directly connecting with the affiliates and their networks, we can finally bridge this gap and have better control to promote our great library of successful video slot games to a larger audience of players globally.

Ahh that's reminded me I signed up to this and never logged in - was waiting for account to get approved.

Just had a quick look about but virtually no demo games for the providers listed. Any plans to expand this? Seems short on resources at the minute.

Great idea.. but until they get the big brands on board it holds no use to many sites, it's been a while now and not seen much progress, i feel this is going to die out before it even gets started

Nothing like a bit of positive thinking, hey Frank. We're working hard to add more developers. As with platforms like this, it is a chicken and egg thing. We need affiliates engaged to interest the game developers. Summer is a tough time to launch something like this, but we're now making some real progress with a good number of game developers. For obvious reasons, I can't say more than that, but we continue to welcome support from affiliates who can see the potential benefits to a service like this.

Great idea. Providing the correct information also helps to be compliant. "Cheating" with RTPs, like Play 'n Go does, not.

If it will work, depends a bit on what the big guys will be doing. But even if not, for us (publishing a lot of slot reviews) it's a good thing to have more providers in one screen instead of having to check different provider websites.
