Just an F to the Y to the I in case you missed the email as it looked a little newslettery and they often get skimmed over (nearly missed it myself).

Thrills is being turned into a PayNPlay casino which is currently only available in a few countries. Registrations from other countries will cease on 10th Sep.

Existing accounts will be migrated to another casino in the group with aff tags intact (thumbs up, GiG guys).

Email below if you didn't get it / deleted it.

Good morning,

GIG is always seeking to be at the forefront of innovation in iGaming. Over the last year a significant enhancement to the user experience has emerged in the shape of PayNPlay.

The innovation allows users simple registration and immediate cashouts, making gaming significantly more user friendly. As a result such PayNplay Casinos have seen great conversion and retention rates for new users, significantly benefitting affiliates.

GIG is seeking to produce the leading PayNPlay casino portal and is launching ‘Thrills’ as a pure ‘Pay N Play’ operator with no need for the end user to open an account with the operator as the issuing bank will guarantee the person’s identification and signature. As this service is only available in Sweden, Finland and Germany ‘Thrills’ will be closing down registrations from all other markets on September 10th and we will discontinue all CPA deals in other markets than those above.

GIG has always strived to safeguard affiliates integrity. Players at ‘Thrills’ from other markets than SE, FI and DE will be migrated to other GIG brands i.e. ‘Kaboo’ or ‘Highroller’. Players migrated from Thrills to Kaboo or Highroller will get their affiliate tag transferred to the new casino/player unless this player already has an account on Kaboo or Highroller and is tagged to another affiliate.

After a player is migrated to the new casino he/she will continue to generate revshare commission as with the deal you previously had on Thrills. We will commence player migration on September 17th and launch the new service shortly thereafter. All affiliates with traffic from Sweden, Finland and Germany should however see an immediate benefit in conversion and retention rates.

See here more information about PayNPlay: https://trustly.com/en/products/paynplay/

Kind Regards,

That is limiting their traffic massively with just the 3 countries to promote, but good on them transferring existing referrals.

What happens if someone clicks through from a different country does it go to a dead page or will it go to one of their other brands?

Your guess is as good as mine. I would imagine they still hit the site they just can't register (ie: like if a US person landed on Thrills now).

Hi guys,

We're very excited about this opportunity and in response to your question, what happens if someone clicks through from a different country does it go to a dead page or will it go to one of their other brands?
There will be a splashpage when Thrills NO/ROW/UK close down to the other brands, and players will be handheld to our other brands.

does that mean they will be tagged to the affiliate?

Players migrated from Thrills to Kaboo or Highroller will get their affiliate tag transferred to the new casino/player unless this player already has an account on Kaboo or Highroller and is tagged to another affiliate.

Good catch, baldidiot -- I actually did miss this (skimmed it too quickly I guess), and I wouldn't have known about the new country restrictions without your post here. Thanks for mentioning it.

I think it's a good move of them.

Pay 'n play could be it. Registering an account is not such a hassle, but payouts are. KYC and SOW became quite bs, also at some GIG brands. Getting paid without delay, would be a great USP in the market of today.
