The UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) has issued a strong warning to licensed operators after discovering their games on unlicensed platforms targeting British consumers. The Commission emphasized the dangers posed by these sites, such as a lack of social responsibility and AML measures, putting users at risk. Operators supplying games via third-party resellers were urged to strengthen oversight, conduct due diligence, and terminate non-compliant partnerships. CEO Andrew Rhodes called for accountability, stressing that supporting illegal markets is unacceptable. The UKGC plans increased enforcement in 2025, including test purchases and collaboration with ISPs to combat unregulated gambling.
