Well, I have been told by my BP manager, that this moving of UK players works a bit different than I thought.
If a UK player logs in to i.e. Lucky Nugget, they will be asked if they would like to play at Betway, since Lucky Nugget does not accept UK anymore and ONLY if the player agrees on this we will have them in our Betway Partners account.

This is how I understood, and IF this is really so, I do not have much hope to see many UK players in Betway partners.

Yeah I've only seen one player so far show up in my betway account... didn't have a massive player base at fortune/referback but enough activity that I thought I'd be seeing a handful.

I've also not been able to get an answer from anyone about the bingo brands (eg: giggle bingo), despite asking multiple times. There's also been no mention of them in any of the communications, so no idea if those are being migrated too or just shut down (which sucks because I had a couple of decent and very regular players).

Thanks for this valuable information Bonus Paradise.

I'm not sure where I am on standing on this process.

There is no doubt it is bad for affiliates, as opt-in systems will always have a significant percentage of players that do not want to be forced to relocate and will say NO. Ihstead they will do research and choose their own place.

On the other hand, as a player I would not like to be forcibly moved with my balance and customer details transferring to a new site without my agreement, so I understand the need for this opt-in process.

I don't see this as "shafting" but the communication of the process to affiliates was poorly handled.

Hi all,

Every effort has been made by the casino partners associated with Buffalo Partners to encourage all players that fall within the definitions of the ‘UK Persons’ to open an account through Betway Partner’s casino brands.

We cannot force players to do this (players need to agree to terms and conditions for their new account, amongst other reasons), hence the opt in is necessary.

In order that the value of the UK players are not lost to any of our affiliate partners, we have taken measures to negotiate a deal whereby players who choose to be migrated to Betway, will have the deal agreed with Buffalo Partners honoured by Betway Partners.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding the number of players that have been migrated, or the activity of such players, please contact your account manager at Betway Partners accordingly.

Best regards,
The Buffalo Partners Team

Ok "shafting" was probably a tad overkill.
But it's a highly charged topic, especially, when it seems, we're always finding out this information by chance.

These poorly executed comms (keeping affiliates in the dark), is exactly what fuels suspicion...just sayin!

Never got a reply from Buffalo Partners to my emails since October.

Are you serious ?

You probably will also not reply to AGD request to have your brands removed from the hackers (2 of them) sites.

Your programs attitude against affiliates has changed to the worst in the industry.

Just saying.

Sorry did you say something ?

I could not hear you over the sound made by other programs that have been sent a request to have their brands removed from the hackers sites.

No reason to taunt programs - I am dealing with this stuff. Buffalo Partners responded immediately, btw, via 'conversation'/PM
