Unusual "no internet gambling" ad in my Yahoo email

I was checking my Yahoo email account just now, and I saw an unusual ad in the top corner of the page. (See the attachment.)

I find it interesting that the ad says that "individuals who place bets with such companies may be subject to arrest and prosecution..."

Gamblers themselves can be arrested? I'm not a lawyer, but I don't think that's accurate... :mad:

That begs the question: Is this ad topical based upon emails? Topical based upon search history? Why was this displayed to YOU?

Seems a bit of a stretch in it's message, though. I wonder who is funding the ad?

My guess would be the same people that are funding Senator Kyle... Land based casino owners that are afraid of the online competition.

Might want to let the PPA know about this ad. I'm sure they will want to counter it somehow.
