Dear Affiliates,

Our casino partners have thoroughly enjoyed offering their brands and services to their players and affiliates across the United Kingdom for over a decade, where incredible growth was achieved in a highly competitive and sometimes challenging market.

Since the announcements of the UK licensing reform our casino partners have decided to discontinue all of their brands and marketing in the UK. As a consequence, all players that fall within the definitions of the ‘UK Persons’ will no longer be able to play with Buffalo Partner casino partners.

Buffalo Partner casino partners have decided to focus their resources and operations on their highly successful international operations and will continue to drive high player value through these and new markets on the horizon. Buffalo Partners is very proud to continue introducing these casinos as customers to our affiliate partners who in turn can share in the growth being achieved in these markets.

After a lengthy review of the available partners in the regulated market space we believe that the Betway brand is a fantastic partner for our affiliates and players alike. In order that the value of the UK players are not lost to any of our affiliate partners, given our partners' decision to withdraw from the UK market, we have taken measures to negotiate a deal whereby these players are offered the possibility of migrating to Betway.
Betway Partners will in turn uphold the terms agreed with Buffalo Partners with regard to any players that are successfully migrated to Betway.

If you don’t have an account with Betway affiliate program, please register at //www.betwaypartners.com/ at the earliest convenience. Please inform your existing affiliate manager at Buffalo Partners of the details of your new or existing Betway Partners account so that all the tracking for your players will be tagged and migrated across correctly.

We are here to assist and guide affiliates through the migration process so please feel free to contact us at any time. You can reach us via the general support contact email address at: support@buffalopartners.com or please contact your affiliate manager directly.

Kind regards,
The Buffalo Partners Team

A joke right ? Betway has been part of Wagershare before Buffalo Partners.

Why the need to make other believe it is a third party by stating "lengthy review" ?

Do you think we are that stupid ?

You have planned this since a long time, I would bet my last dollar on it!

So now we have negative carryover on all our UK players whereas we didn't before, that seems fair

Yup, I asked about the negative carry over in my email to them letting them know my Betway account.
Curious how this will be handled

Frankly Buffalo (errr Wagershare), the ruse is over!

It's become clear in 2014, the following microgaming casinos & affiliate programs, have all been owned by the same entity, from day dot. The same family who was the brain child behind Microgaming. And, who to this day, hold the controlling share in the Microgaming privately owned company.
  • Jackpot Factory Group - Spiral Solutions/Brightshare
  • Fortune Lounge Group - Osiris Trading/Fortune Affiliates
  • Spin Palace Group - Bayton ltd/Wagershare (now Buffalo Partners)
  • Betway - Bayton ltd / Beway Partners (previously Betway was connected to Wagershare)
  • Bell Rock Entertainment - ForwardSlash (now Digioutsource)/ Referback (now Buffalo Partners)
  • Red Fush et al - Red Returns
  • Digimedia ltd
In addition to, numerous financial processing companies, subsidiaries, Trust accounts etc etc.

Oh... Lets add in Stanworth Development Limited to the mix.
http://tmarque.com.au/search/?q=OWNER:STANWORTH DEVELOPMENT LIMITED (53 Trademarks taken out for various (referback) casinos and MGS games).

http://tmarque.com.au/browse/trademarks-owned-by-Stanworth Development Limited/

You can thank human error, for unraveling this web of deceit and misrepresentation of the 'truth'.

Given myself and other affiliates have sent countless players to these casinos, who, we were led to believe were owned by unrelated person/s. I can't help but wonder, given the ruse which has been perpetrated on all affiliates and players alike, if this Cartel has been sharing player information.

EG - Player accounts locked - but really players have been hijacked to another casino, within this Cartel.

It doesn't paint a pretty picture BUT that's what happens when people try to hide the "truth".

Andrew,

Can you comment if the migrated players will be exempt from any betway related quotas (such as the below) or if affiliates are forced into promoting Betway to retain their rev share?

16.7.1 In the event that You fail to send, or otherwise refer, a new active depositing player for any consecutive 3 month period, or more, Your membership in the Programme, then any Commission which would otherwise be due to You will immediately be reduced to a flat rate of 10% of the Net Revenue, and no actual payments will be made to You during the entire period of inactivity.

I hope we can get answers here.
Under which affiliate terms are our migrated UK players now?
Negative carry over and no payment + only 10% if we do not send new depositing player within 3 months?

I think it would be more than unfair to send our UK players to a brand with this absolute unfriendly terms for affiliates.

These are the MAIN questions I want answers to.

When Betway "left" Wagershare I had NCO imposed on me which I had NEVER had before (and never agreed to), and to be honest I was seriously considering dumping Betway completely from my sites... but now, with all my UK players from Palace Group, Referback and (coming soon!) Fortune Lounge getting sent there - the problem is MUCH bigger... :(

We need answers... now!

Also, I notice there's no mention of Bingo players (eg: from Jackpot City Bingo) - are these being migrated to Betway also?

Just found out that Brightshare (Jackpot Factory) are also sending their players to Betway!
(Well actually, to a new Betway "white label" probably called Spin Casino)

So by my reckoning, that is 5 groups = 20 casinos' UK players being moved from programs without predatory terms, none with NCO, some without bundling and some without quotas - to Betway with all of the above... :(

Unless Betway ARE prepared to change their terms, this could be a train-wreck for some affiliates.

That really annoys me!

Seeing Wagershare is in control of Buffalo Partners - it's now their way or the highway attitude. So you can be pretty sure, Betway Partners will fall in the same direction.

A few years back I scattered some eggs elsewhere, questioned that a few times but glad I stuck with it. This UK mess with BP/FA/Betway Partners will not hurt me much. Though, this is likely a sign of things to come and a new chapter with MGS programs, we once trusted.

Thanks KK for the heads up on Jackpot Factory ;)

And yes SpinCasino UK is where Fortune Lounge are now sending UK players. Received official notice from FA tonight. So much for tagged players sent to Betway. Seriously this is either one hell of a botch up or it was premeditated from the get-go.

Oh and another day passes without any reply from the program...

Not meaning to disparage anyone, but let's not completely cloud Buffalo Partners. I understand Wagershare is certainly a part of them and that stigma will not disappear without major efforts on their part (in the form of doing things right for many years to come), but let's remember that they ARE adopting Referback terms (which is a good thing). I think we need to take the good with the bad here and see how things unfold without constantly slamming them with each post.

remember that they ARE adopting Referback terms

Whilst Referback had the HR policies (including NCO for them) in their T&C's, they DID NOT invoke them, ever!

Instead, Buffalo Partners was opened only a few days and AGD members (myself included), got hammered with the HR Policies. This month, I've been shafted for over $7.5K because of this... I'm sure other affiliates have been too.

So while Buffalo maybe adopting similar T&C's, they are certainly not following the status qou set by Referback.

With all due respect, if you got hammered for $7.5K (loss on commission),which will likely continue to be that kind of loss for ther next few months, I dare say you'd be just as upset and annoyed... just sayin.

And besides, Referback have always been, were always quick to let affiliates know about changes. The number of threads/posts from other members, show's Buffalo are not!

Andy,

They should pay all affiliates for a start. They knew what it all included with the merge.

Now they are not only holding my earnings from Wagershare, they aren't paying my Referback earnings either.

It's not like I haven't been in contact, Andrew has always answered my mails from day one of the merge. So with earnings and contact, why can't we get paid?

This is month 2 and I'll guess it will be a few more if ever.

Agreed. I will have a talk with them. I just don't want the kind of slamming of any program constantly when it is not in reponse to previous threads.. trying to keep control of an out of control situation. Not trying to defend anyone.

I kinda figure your stuck between a rock and a hard place, here. I don't mean to add to your worries, mate :)

But I am really annoyed with Buffalo.

There was no notice of intention by BP, to invoke this HR policy. I was literally blind-sided by it. Reiterating, while Referback had it, they never acted on it!

Albeit in August 2014, I'd be negative (no commission - yes I have 2 aff accounts) at Referback too BUT I wouldn't be now (Sept 2014) staring down a BIG dark hole, which is going to leave me at least $21K+ out of pocket, which I wouldn't have been, if Referback hadn't merged.

And really that's what all this is about.

On one hand it's a new affiliate program when it suit's the agenda. On the other, it's two old programs merging into one - when the agenda suits!

Add in the semantics, stone-walling, stalling, non-payments and all the rest of the BS affiliates are being force-feed... These random curve-balls, are directly affecting affiliates livelihoods. It's OK for Buffalo et al, they earn regardless, we don't!

A lot of us have tirelessly, work hard for Referback, over the years. To get hammered like we are now, is a none too nice feeling, when you realise, you trust and loyalty, is essentially being kicked to the curb...

Why don't we have a reply here yet to such basic questions?

Buffalo-Andrew is 'out of the office' till the 1'st of Oct, apparently it slipped his mind to tell us or arrange to have someone fill his shoes in his absence.
