No need to describe it further. But Im sure there are many affiliates out there that also gambles on their own. So, do you use your own links or is that too risky?

most programmes have rules against this kind of behaviour.

Most affiliate programs won't let you sign-up through your own affiliate links.
Some of them will not even let you play at the casino if you are an affiliate.
Look at some of the terms and you'll find that marketing partners may
be included in the list of those restricted from playing at the casino.

I only do it to test out new casinos and check if the new depositors are coming through. But I always let the affiliate manager know straightaway, in writing. It is not worth it having it used against you at any time.

Of course, it also means you cannot play on the account anymore.
