WS took over Betway and Gnuf, I have a sub affiliate under me from Betway that gives me regular monthly earnings. I was just informed that WS will not honor this sub under me because this sub is already an affiliate of WS.

I was told that it would not be profitable for them to pay me a percentage of his earnings.

Now, to me, I see it as though I got this guy to sign up under me, he is now going to be under WS and WS will be earning more money because of his Betway earnings. So to pay me the 10% I agreed with under Betway terms, is not taking a dime from them, in fact they are earning more money due to a sub under me.

At worst, they should compensate me in a lump sum...either way, I deserve to be compensated, and rightfully in the way I was compensated at Betway, WS took over Betway, and their affiliates, and the agreements they had with their affiliates.

I had posted this exact post on CAP and GPWA, since then I was told that they aer not budging, I am not getting paid period end of story. Brooke from CAP is stepping in as well, but I know it can't hurt to get all the help I can and to get the word out on how WagerShare is treating an affiliate of Gnuf/Betway for probably around 9 years, or however long they have been in business.

Another kicker is that I was told on March 23rd of this, and they are retroactively screwing me as of March 1st because I was just informed they are not paying me for March earnings (even though they didn't tell me this until over 3 weeks into March).

I wonder if the Palace Group realize their affiliate management is treating the people that bring players to their doors, the way they are treating me.

I have pulled down ALL properties, links, banners etc, of Betway/Gnuf and WagerShare, this is the most unfair and unethical thing I have had happen to me in 10 years of being in this business.

I have been screwed over, companies going out of business ect. I have lost players in merges but normally gotten them back, I have even been paid off a lump sum of 2 years average income for subs and players when they couldn't merge them for some reason, I have never been told that I am have a specific sub taken away from me, one that earns me a regular paycheck monthly for years! I am a small affiliate, and this is probably equivalent to 20-25% of my income on some months!

For what its worth they should offer you something. If they still have a sub-tier program in place it doesn't seem that hard at all to keep you tracked to the casinos from the old program but not to the WS ones. But it might be a programming problem (not a programmer)

At the very least they should offer you something 6 or 12 months of average sub-level revenue? Sorry about this for you.

However... ", this is the most unfair and unethical thing I have had happen to me in 10 years of being in this business. "

You are doing very very well if in 10 years this is the worst thing.... :) So keep your head up and keep bringing in players to the other properties you promote.

actually I've had worse happen, I should rephrase that...it's the amount financially that is the worst. I've never had this much consistent income, taken away from me unfairly.

Yep, the reasoning behind it is ridiculous. This was the email March 23rd

I am writing with regards to your sub-affiliate. I have been told that WagerShare will unfortunately not be able to assign them as your sub-affiliate, since they are already working with the affiliate already and the % they are on plus 10% of their earnings paid to you would make the deal unprofitable.

After arguing back and forth I got this

Hi Ellen, I have asked my manager to chat with you, but I was told that although he is sorry, he cannot do anything about it. The deal would become unrealistic if we paid you the 10% on top of what the affiliate already earns.

MY affiliate manager from Betway/Gnuf, Kristina apparently tried to battle for me.

It makes no sense, I am not asking for a percentage of his WS earnings, I am only asking for my share of the Betway earnings, they can easily set up a separate account for him that will keep Betway different from the original WS properties. And if they can't do that, they can manually check the Betway earnings and pay me my share.

They need to honor Betway and the agreement I have with Betway.

IMO this is a bit of a tricky one. If a program buys out another program and the buyer doesn't have a sub-aff program in place then you wouldn't expect them to start one. It's quite usual for two competitors in the same space within an industry to offer different services.

However, when a company buys another there is normally some sort of provision for debt, debtors and creditors. As to who's responsibility that is I'm not sure. If I was selling a business with contracts, the buyer would recognise that as part of their due diligence and make provision for it.

As an affiliate I reckon you should request a resolution in writing (not email - a proper registered letter) from the seller and/or the buyer and in the case of a rejection, consult a legal representative as I am sure there are procedures that protect third parties in the selling on of contracts. And the fact you had a contract is easily proved I would have thought as they paid you sub-affiliate commissions prior to the deal.

thanks Simmo, I will definitely take that into consideration.
But honestly how much of a chance do I have getting anywhere with this even if they will produce a letter of resolution in writing?
