Just wondering if anyone else has noticed what I saw in March?

With Betway I have seen regular player activity (players winning or losing) every single month since I signed-up with them in October 2008.

The Palace group took them over in March... and my activity shows ZIP!

Anyone else seen this, or knows what's going on?

Hi

We have been working with Wagershare for a long time, signed up with Betway last year. Betway converts extremely well in scandi-land.

Mapping the Betway account went flawless, and last month all the betway player data displayed just fine in the Wagershare backoffice. Our experience is that the Wagershare team has been able to improve the value of the players we had in Betway. A lot more deposits from the older signups.

We are still double checking that the new traffic is tracking right and converting ok, but looks fine for now.

Cheers

KK, did you share your Betway account ID with WagerShare so that they could map the Betway players over to your WagerShare account?

Alternately, maybe your players abandoned ship (or took a break) when they found out their favorite casino was being sold to a different company.

The third possibility is that WagerShare deliberately screwed you, like they did with Ellen (aka pokertramp). Threads here (private) and here (public).

Where can I find info about why Wagershare is listed in the predatory section? I only see that they are listed here but could not find an explanation anywhere.

Several players told me the player customer service at Betway is absolutely terrible and Wagershare in general have a reputation of making whales disappear real quick from your account. Soon as you catch a big player they get siphoned off into thin air.

There are many reasons, especially with how they treat affiliates and confiscate players....

However:

Terms said:
WagerShare will only make payments to active affiliates; an active affiliate account is defined as an account which has generated a minimum of 1 new paying customer for the casino clients or the bingo clients of WagerShare within a 3 month period. If an account does not meet these requirements, at the sole discretion of WagerShare management, future commission payments may be withheld.

Also - they have a High Roller Policy... but never end up returning the high roller to your account. They 'forget' about the player and have no automated system to re-introduce.

Stay away, IMO.

Thank you for pointing this out, Guard Dog. It would be great if this info could be summarized for each operator in the predatory section.

As far as Wagershare goes, I do not trust them anymore for the same reasons. Their casinos have always been top notch but I would not recommend a company that confiscates earned revenue and condones massive spamming. This is indeed very disappointing for one of the oldest MG groups.

They started this spam thingy ~2 years ago. Before that I almost never received any annoying Spin Palace/ Ruby Fortune, etc. mailers at all.

Has anyone ever tried using their spam report email? :p
