Affiliate programs do this all the time and at the same time, they do not understand when affiliates want them to sign IO´s and contracts outside their T&C.. One thing that has never changed in this industry is the shadiness of some brands (and affiliates) and the brands seem to always get away with it.

Hi All,

Please note that the change was advised via the update in terms and conditions upon logging into the ComeOn Connect platform as follows;

"9

Affiliate Performance

The lifetime of a Customer is the period during which there is an active, ongoing relationship between the active Affiliate (through the respective active Affiliate account) and COE Services Ltd pursuant to the Affiliate Program.

An “Active” Affiliate account is defined as an Affiliate sending through to ComeOn Connect a minimum of six (6) new active Customer accounts in each and every three (3) month period and maintaining an active website with active banners/promotions promoting the ComeOn Connect Brands.

A new “Active” Customer is defined as a Customer who has cumulatively (i) registered on any Property Sites(ii) made at least one deposit of any value, and (iii) placed at least one (1) wager during the preceding three (3) month period;

ComeOn Connect reserves the right to reduce or change the Affiliate Payment (including but not limited to any commission and/or Reward (as may be applicable) at its sole discretion provided that in the case of a commission, the percentage shall not be lower than 5% net revenue commission as set out in this Agreement):

  1. the Affiliate reduces its efforts to promote ComeOn Connect Brands, except in markets where affiliate activity is restricted; and/or
  2. the existing Affiliate Payment results in a financial loss to Comeon Connect, and/or
  3. the Affiliate does not generate a minimum of six (6) new Active Customers (as defined in these terms and conditions) in a period of three (3) months, except in markets where affiliate activity is restricted; and/or
  4. in the event of any legal and/or regulatory changes in the relevant market."
You can refer to the full T&Cs by clicking here. We have been talking to all affiliates interested in increasing the exposure to see what can be done in order to discuss a better deal for both parties. Please get in touch with your affiliate manager to see what can be done to increase the exposure for our brands.

Best,

Annabel

Hi All,

We understand that this can come with a shock. However, bear in mind that this is also a two way street, where both parties need to find balance and compromise.

ComeOn Connect strives to deliver quality KPIs at optimal efficiency. This change also serves as an opportunity for both parties to potentially review and reach a suitable agreement where the deal is feasible and profitable for both in the long run as most operators strive for. Unfortunately, the industry has smaller margins with less leeway than before, to both affiliates and operators alike.

While we may understand that certain measures can be considered as inconsiderate on the surface, these decisions come with a high degree of diligence with the affiliates in mind.

We are more than open for conversation with any affiliate that is registered with us, so feel free to contact us on connect@comeonconect.com or reach out to your account manager to have a chat and discuss further.

Regards,

ComeOn Connect Team

This is BS!
I have worked with other brands for several years and have never tried this before.
But thats your decision - I will keep warning new affiliates to work with you in the future

Are these T&C's for AGD not reason enough to send them into ROGUEHOUSE instead of only marking with predatory terms?

Companies who makes terms and conditions predatory are already in their thoughts rogue.

It's always the same, companies are just trying to equalize their margins. And that only works by trying to recoup "losses" from these kinds of predatory conditions.

These are unilateral terms and conditions that only benefit the company. The "partner" is not valued and not even asked. Main thing is to set the conditions first according to the motto, "Take it or leave it".

They cut us without informing because we haven't met their terms. Long terms partnerships means nothing.

But it's really not bad for us either. There are so many other companies.

You talk like a corporate lawyer justifying your poor policy. Not only is your action a retroactive change on deals that were made, but you also seem to think its normal to do it. Your affiliates bring you a good part of your income, why does this seem to be a normal procedure? Guard Dog please take action, this is pretty disgusting to be honest.

6 players every 3 months is a lot to ask for from many affiliates. Revenue Network(BODOG) asks for 3 players every 6 months and will tell you 2 months in advance that you are in danger of dropping to 10% and will actually help you by doing some special for your traffic. Also based on your crappy audit it will be tough to send huge numbers your way.

If you understood, you wouldn't be crooked cheats.

Two way street, yeah, sure.... Affiliates bring players based on a previously agreed T&C's. So what does Comeon Connect do? They retroactively change (aka renege; break their promise) on previously agreed on T&C commission, and now pay 10% on already signed up players...

If Comeon Connect were truly understanding (which you are clearly NOT), you'd only enforce these NEW T&C's commission structure on NEW referred players, from the date the NEW T&C's came into force.

To do anything other than this is a Scam, theft, once again screams ComeOn Connect can't be trusted.

Rumor has it these ass-clowns wont be around much longer.
