When did AGD start handing out Certification to Affiliates?

After sussing out a spammy link added by one of our newest members, I found the AGD Platinum Certification Seal displayed at the footer of that url: casinoonfire.com/affiliate/

That Seal links to: casinoonfire.com/affiliate/guard-dog.html
And on this page, is the AGD forum nicely packaged into an iframe, atopped with various casino affiliate programs linked to their own pages within casinoonfire.com

Obviously AGD doesn't give out Platinum Certification Seals to affiliates. Instead it seems this new member CasinoOnFire has no scruples and is using the Good Name of AGD to fatten his wallet.

Wow. That is some shady-ass shit. I will have a talk with this person... and if that goes nowhere, I will have my lawyer have a talk with this person. No we do NOT give out seals to affiliate sites.

I also noticed (which I did not before) that he/she is using a name I coined... notice the relation to 'casino on fire' domain to my own domain that I have had for 10 years - 'slots on fire'. Nice.

Had a feeling this member was dodgy from the get go...
So when he added that hidden link in that forum post I reported, I followed it and was totally shocked at what I found.

If it was me I'd be contacting my lawyer and let him sort it out.

And yes I noticed that too. Was going to let you know but this overshadowed that ;)

It's why I use hotlink protection. Even though one can still iframe the site content, the iages ext wont display, so it makes it a somewhat worthless if not uggly look.

Thanks for the heads up on DomainBigData.com, I've now bookmarked it :)

Here's a good url for checking scrapped content - it is free:

Can someone please capture an image of the demesne and who is for me and post it here? I am out of my office for the next 3 to 4 hours. I don't want to get back and see that information changed, I need to know exactly who this is.

Also not 100% sure if this is his G+ page but the name and location matches along with a couple of casino affiliate followers. I've taken a save of the photo, just in case BUT wont post it here because it might not be the same person.

Here's the G+ link:
plus.google.com/105815538161921262347/about

There does however seem to be an association between the owner of loose-slots.com and Francis Nadeau, a link to casinoonfire.com was added to a G+ page owned by loose-slots.com. And, the above G+ link, includes the follower (loose-slots.com).

SO I'm fairly confident the G+ page I linked to above and its associated photo, is casinoOnFire.com

Lol, domain

Well ain't that weirdly ironic...
"demesne" refers to the Old French word of demeine, which come from Latin dominus. Which means, lord, master of a household.

In this instance the owner of a domain could be seen as the master of it!
Add in the French connection and that's some funky shit, right there :D

Reminds me of the TV show, The Twilight Zone.

I'm back. Let me be clear about it, then.

My biggest issue was the 'Platinum' logo in the footer. That logo holds a lot of weight with us here and with the industry. It is meant for programs of the highest quality and not for websites nor for programs of low or average quality. So - yes, I take exception (big exception) to the use of it without proper authority from AGD (us, we the members). It is a violation of all that AGD stands for, IMO.

I understand it was a mistake. I understand iFrames are used, but they are not typically used how you used them except to gain traffic off other domain's fame or authority. So - while it *may* have been a mistake, it was certainly one that would have helped your website.

Thank you for removing the content. That was the proper decision.
