hello, could someone please give me a quick explanation on how payment of earnings work. This is my situation, i have been casino affiliating for 5 months now, in may i finally got some players to convert and showed a nice little bit of earnings in my affiliate accounts, in 3 of the programs i earning over the minimum to get a withdrawal $350+, these were wagershare, fortune affiliates and vegas afiliates, my choosen method of payment is moneybookers, i have tried to contact the programs and i know 2 of the AM's, wayne at fortune has got back to me saying to update my payment details and email him which i have but he hasnt confirmed that hes recieved it, i have not been able to get anything back from robert at wagershare, i have been emailing vegas affiliates because i dont know who my AM is but they have yet to respond to any emails, i not getting too worried yet but as a new affiliate i just wanted to know the details...thanks in advance

Wayne at Fortune is good; he will get back to you.

WagerShare is not a program I can recommend -- I would stop promoting them ASAP and start promoting someone else.

Vegas Affiliates -- try chris /at/ vegasaffiliates /dot/ com. He is the new affiliate manager there, and he has been fairly responsive and communicative since he started.

Did you put your Moneybookers details in each affiliate account? Log in, find the "payment preferences" area (or something similarly named), and make sure your Moneybookers account information is there. If you have already done that, you should be good to go.

Another thing to remember is that some programs pay later than others. If you are expecting payments this month, they could arrive near the middle of the month, or they could arrive very late, depending on the program. Every program should pay before the last day of the following month, though (if you are owed anything).

Hopefully that helps. Good luck receiving your first commissions, and congrats, too! ;D

Why this comment, is there something wrong with them I do not know ? Frankly I have no problems with them and they respond very quickly to me.

OK they will set you back to 25% basic rate if do not send more traffic, but apart from that I have no complaints.

Wagershare has predatory terms and conditions:

WagerShare will only make payments to active affiliates; an active affiliate account is defined as an account which has generated a minimum of 1 new paying customer for the casino clients of WagerShare within a 3 month period. If an account does not meet these requirements, at the sole discretion of WagerShare management, future commission payments may be withheld.

Essentially, if they don't convert the traffic you send, they can steal your residual income.

Also, Wagershare has a history of making deals and reneging on them when they feel like it. Many webmasters have experienced a situation where WagerShare offers a more attractive commission rate, only to take it away a few months later, thus confiscating a large chunk of expected residual income.

If they cut your rate from 35% to 25%, for example, the amount you take home drops by 29%. Had the traffic been sent elsewhere (i.e. to a place that won't lower the rate on a whim), you wouldn't have to face such a large loss.

If you're happy with 25% and questionable T&Cs, that's fine, but personally I will not promote any program for only 25% -- that is just way too low.

Lastly -- here is another example of Wagershare screwing an affiliate: https:// www. affiliateguarddog. com/forums/wager-share-refuses-honor-subaffiliate-betway-after-merge-t3918.html

itsblitz, you need a certain number of posts (15, I think) before you can modify your profile. This was put in place to prevent people from signing up only to get a profile link to their site. I'm sure you will have 15 posts soon. ;)
