Got this this morning. Looks like another smash and grab of affiliate's players when one company moves to another's contro. Glad I totally dropped Sportingbet the day I learnt that William Hill were bidding for them!:
"Dear Sirs
We write to notify you that, with effect from 1st September 2013, William Hill acquired the Spanish business of Sportingbet through the acquisition of Spread Your Wings Spain plc (“the Business”). As from 16 September 2013 (such date is subject to change), all betting activity will cease on the website of the Business.
Further, we write to give you notice of termination of the affiliate agreement entered into by you with Spread Your Wings plc (“the Agreement”), pursuant to the provisions of clause 5.2 of the Agreement. Termination will be effective seven (7) days from the date of this email.
Please note that any entitlement which you may have to any payment under the Agreement will remain unaffected.
