This is a continuation from my post in another thread (Forum will not let me link)
As suggested by KasinoKing I decided to log in and check my Videoslots stats recently. I haven't sent any new players in awhile (explained below) and thus, like many others here, have commissions still being held hostage. But I log in once a month to check for anything new. When I attempted to sign in my password would not work. I tried "Forgot password?" and when I entered my username I received the error "User does not exist". Emails to the affiliate email address were ignored. Messages sent through the website's contact form were ignored. I turned to a VS casino rep on another forum who was quite responsive and within a few hours I had a reply from an affiliate manager. This is the entire message:
"Thanks for reaching out.
I'm sorry but inactive account are closed.
Kind regards"
No warning. No notice. No discussion. No support for the affiliate. Just "Sorry. Closed. Bye."
This is a direct violation of their own Terms & Conditions 5.2.1:
"Notice of termination shall be given in writing by either Party to the other. For purposes of notification of termination, delivery via email is considered a written and immediate form of notification and the Agreement shall accordingly terminate with immediate effect."
The marketing landscape in Canada has changed and I had to stop promoting VS earlier this year when Ontario enacted new legislation. VS didn't have their act together and still aren't licensed, therefore, I cannot promote them in Canada at all until their license is finalized.
Thanks to forums like AGD I was well aware that VS was not an ethical affiliate operator. However, as a player I never had an issue with VS and realize they have benefits not found at any other online casino.
But if they want to close the door on my face then my player loyalty over many years (and many deposits) goes away too.
I can't fathom how this makes any sense from their point of view. Here you have someone who is GIVING you their money (to play) AND working to bring in new players to build the business even more. It's literally win-win. And without a word you slam the door in their face? Because of quotas you added to the Terms & Conditions AFTER they signed on to promote you?
Welcome to the RogueHouse Videoslots. Just one of many consequences brought on by your dumpster fire of affiliate mismanagement over the years.
