Seems the new/current affiliate manager at Twin Affiliates, wouldn't know the truth, if, it hit her square in the face. In fact, the truth couldn't be any further from the facts, even if she tried.

Received an email tonight from Twin Affiliates Program.

The AM (B****), claims we worked together at 777 affiliates, where, we had a successful partnership. She goes on to say, we know each other from there. Hmmmm... Never worked with the affiliate program, hence, never worked with B****.

More comical... if B**** from Twin Affiliates ACTUALLY knew me, she'd have addressed the email to Hi David. Instead, it's the usual generic of: Hi There.

@Insider - tbh those type of emails tend to almost always be empty statements fuelled with carrot dangles. Besides, can't work with anyone, who, can't be honest with me.

My experience with Twin is that something changed.

Since Marcin and our account manager left the company it runs more bad, that's my personal impression. We promting Twin nearly 5-6 years. But to be honest it has never worked for us really.

And now with restrictions regarding german regulation it is still more difficult and become almost impossible.

Incidentally, that applies to all companies that apply for a German license and implement these rules.

The best examples to get rid of affiliates and not have to pay anymore are: betfair, 888, Affiliate Club, Mr Affiliate and some more companies we don't work with.

All this new planed rules and restrictions in Germany are absolutely BS.

But this is another theme.

I’m sorry to hear that you feel we have been untruthful with you. I can say that it was an honest mistake and definitely not an intentional mistruth.

We do take comments and feedback from affiliates very seriously, as we always look to develop open and honest relationships with them. In any partnership, this is essential.

Having spoken to the affiliate manager involved, I am confident that it was a genuine mistake. As you know, a lot of affiliates keep their true identity hidden. Add that to the fact that affiliates buy and sell sites quite often, the identity of who owns which site can sometimes get confused.

Our affiliate manager had been told (by someone else working in the iGaming industry) that you were the same person she had worked with in the past. We now know that was misinformation, but she had acted in good faith.

I hope there are no hard feelings. From our side, we are still very keen to work with you in Canada and make use of our budget to achieve amazing results together. Please do get in touch with me at any time.

I'm truly disappointed to hear that you are not happy with the current performance. During the past year, Twin Affiliates has improved conversions, customisation, creatives, affiliate management and much more - it is regrettable that you have not yet experienced these improvements.

Please do get in touch with me (or your account manager)so we can help you and improve your results together. This will help your sites match the growth we have had with other affiliates and markets.

Regarding Germany, the new regulations have negatively affected both affiliates and operators alike. Unfortunately, Twin has no control over these new restrictions – as a reputable casino, we must follow the rules that have been set out.

Thankfully we are still operating in Germany and we have no intention of withdrawing from that market, we will do our best to minimize damages and to optimize the results towards the new situation.

Personally, I think that companies have made it far too easy for themselves to accept and implement these rules. You did this because it was a recommandation to do and is easier to get a license.

But Affiliates and you will not earn money anymore if casinos on this market having restrictions like this.

And this will be still more bad if the regulation 1:1 is taken over.

The hope is that this regulation fails at the last moment. But it will not change anything that the companies will stay remain on this rules.

In this time partners have already rearranged and oriented differently. You know exactly what i mean.

The customers will searching for casinos where they don't have.

Whatever the outcome is, it's bad for both, casinos who want to have a german license and for us affiliates who promoted casinos follwing german rules.

I would appreciate if you could send me your username via pm so I can pick this matter up and sort it out.

I agree that there has been a lot of confusion with regards to the German regulations and no final opinion has been formed so far.
Unfortunately, all the MGA casinos that wish to pursue the German license this year had to implement certain changes and many affiliates had to accommodate their sites accordingly. I assure you that we are not happy about restricting our affiliates in promoting our brand in any way.

Germany despite any restrictions remains one of our core markets and we highly prioritise our affiliate relationships in this market.

Unlike other regulated operators we have not been unnecessarily slashing all of our affiliate deals and we continue ensuring that our German affiliates are highly satisfied with their revenues. Should the regulations be rolled back, we will certainly apply all the necessary procedures to make these revenues even more lucrative for our affiliates.

Please note that despite the new regulations we continue offering exclusive promotions to our affiliates on a very regular basis. These promotions have seen very positive results even in the month of December when the most recent regulation was introduced.

Moreover, we have recently launched our VIP and Loyalty Program with even further rewards for our players in Germany as well as some other markets. Please let me know if you received the recent newsletter about it.

Our goal is to continue delivering stellar experience to both our players and our affiliates and we apologize again if any of our services have not been satisfactory. We would like to set the record straight with you and look into various ways of improving our existing relationship.

Regarding my impression for Twin Affiliates i have mentioned that we had no contact to any manager.

Now this case is solved because Twin had other contact details. These contact details were based on a misunderstanding.
They tried to contact us but it hasn't reached me.

Until now it was not a problem for us and i also didn't asked for a manager.

So it is only now noticed by chance because of the thread here.

What i can say is that i had meanwhile contact with Angie "Head of Affiliates" and she forwarded me to a really nice and experienced AM named Anna.

It was a nice comminication with both ladies and i'm sure that they will do all for their affiliates.

Twin wants to treat his partners well, even if things went a bit wrong in Dave's case. This is not due to Twin.com itself but rather to the manager, who should have communicated it differently.

There will certainly be different opinions on this, but i believe that Twin.com is one of the few good affiliate programs.

Of course there will be criticism here and there, which is completely normal. And i'm not just saying this to do Twin.com a favor.

I have also no advantages just because i do write now positive about the company.

We are writing very often about companies which are bad. Why not writing sometimes if companies acting positive ?

@Dave - i'm sure you could clear that up all in a conversation if you would allow it. If not one must accept.

I don't know from which parallel universe you hail from, BUT... "acted in good faith" is the moot point of the century.

Just so we're on the same page here...
My personal data was obtained without my explicit permission. It was gained from someone else, and used by your affiliate manager.

A sincere acceptance your program, and your affiliate manager, screwed up, would have addressed this issue.

Instead, you try to Spin Doctor this into a PR palatable meal, by attempting to wash your hands of all accountability, by claiming, it's the fault of this non-disclosed iGaming person. A cynical person could not be blamed for thinking, your program, has acquired (by some unknown means) a database of affiliates, and is spamming that list.

FYI... The fault here is that you yourself, your AM, and (blink blink) your program, seems to be OK with using data which you have no rights to use.

In closing, I wouldn't touch your program with a barge pole!

For clarity, i wanted to say that i didn't give my like for the content but for the fact that the representative responded.

You expected that Twin respond to your SPAM complaint and they did. But somehow, from a technical point of view, this was not displayed immediately.

It is completely okay if you rate the content for yourself as BS and write your opinion about it. I also think that's not okay to use data from other sources that are actually confidential.

But what should Twin do now? Destroy a possible list? Kick the affiliate manager out?

What would be an appropriate answer? To admit it wasn't right?

In any case, they tried to clear up the situation with you. I don't want to rate the content at this point. If you completely reject that's okay and one have to accept and respect it.

We're all just human who sometimes make mistakes. That's probably also already happened to you. You Dave have not only much experience in this business but also life experience. We don't know each other personally and i can only assess what you are writing here.

You know the real responsible guys are in the background. We mostly don't know these guys. Only those employees who have to follow, implement or represent whether they find okay or not. These employees have to turn their heads for it.

I'm a little rebel too, sometimes persistent or am stubborn. We are at business that can be compared to politics.
Sometimes it's shabby and dirty business where morality doesn't matter.

But not all programs or the guys behind are bad or want to cheat.

It's like it is, either you like programs or the people working with together or you don't.

Justifying an employee/company using STOLEN DATA, which, they did not specifically have permission to use, is not even in the ball-park, of anywhere near, trying to clear this fuck up, their fuck-up, up!

If accountability means nothing to you, fine, your choice.

However, for me, after 20 years of dealing with lying sacks of shit, crooks, thieves, and people who can't or wont face up to their own screw ups, I'm not going to let someone think they can BS me, with more BS.

My thought and hope was that they could clear the situation with you. But it seems that's unfortunately not the case.

This case should have been handled much more sensitively.

Now you have more than clearly expressed several times your attitude and opinion.
How i already said one must accept and that's okay.
