Greentube Alderney Limited, trading as Admiral Casino, will pay £1 million following a UK Gambling Commission investigation uncovering social responsibility and anti-money laundering failings. Issues included not properly verifying customer income, failing to identify vulnerability indicators, and delayed escalation of suspicious transactions. One case involved a customer depositing £4,000 despite presenting a negative balance bank statement. Anti-money laundering lapses included insufficient scrutiny of “risky occupations” and delayed investigation of linked accounts. This is Greentube’s second regulatory action, with a £685,000 penalty in 2021. Enforcement Director John Pierce emphasized stricter measures for repeat breaches and ongoing monitoring of compliance.
