Hi All,

First let me start off by saying thanks to these posts i have learnt a lot of new stuff working with my technical team the past few days.
Secondly we are still investigating this matter trying to find proof in Black and White that actual hacking occurred. Sure there is something sophisticated going on by this affiliate site but i think we need to be careful when using the word "hacking".

now if i may a few responses to the posts above before i get into my actual post.

Mr Pogg i truly believe you are one of the only affiliates in the business today who still works based on integrity and backs it up with his own money (he knows what i mean). You are a straight shooter but so am I so nothing written below is aimed at you.

Casinonewbie: Sorry for the late reply i was focused on verified casinos and missed your post...Yes our marketing team is based in Israel. What can we do to help?

And now for my post...I am not looking to stir the pot but unfortunately its going to happen anyway.
What is going on nowadays with these forums? If you do not promote me how you can you ask me to stop working with someone who is?
A few weeks/ months ago we were accused of not responding on forums cause our site had some down time. So much so that some affiliate/s suggested everyone should remove our links and stop promoting us. some of the sheep here jumped on the band wagon. I mean we are just innocent affiliates trying to help each other out against the the wolves (opearators). I also saw that someone said cause our site was hacked.

So lets see, operator site gets accused of being hacked = dont promote them not safe
Affiliate sites lose traffic due to another hacking accusation = operators dont promote this site we are being hacked.
AGD representatives is this site a one way channel or do people here actually argue on the operators behalf? I mean you are definitely the first to help out the operators and update them on all that is going on on your forum so we can defend ourselves. but where are the affiliates to cry fair game? I have heard over the last few days that apparently 5-6 affiliates are trying to copy verifiedcasinos methods. These by the way are people that are seeing the glass half full. They want in on the action and want to send mass traffic to sites. Isn't this why we all got in the business.
Now of course all this is backed up by me only if no actual hacking took place. As far as i see it. Google is the one you should all be contacting. cause if foul play was done this site would not be at the top for so long without being punished.

In the end of the day we all work in a very competitive and dynamic industry. We all need to earn money to survive. Yes we are currently still on the site along with some big names in the industry. If we do see what we believe is actual proof of hacking we will remove ourselves. This post has no intention of fueling the fire. I am simply saying stuff that a lot of the people in the industry think but are to afraid to say it as it will put them in the center of this thread.

If you don't promote us then dont judge us. If you do promote us and have issues on this subject then contact me directly and i will be happy to discuss this matter not on the forums. Who knows you might show me i am wrong. Either way the operators are not the police. Google is in this case. So please file your complaints with them.

I must agree with Vladi, I am totally shocked and disgusted at Ashley's, and therefore AffEurope's, views and remarks on this forum in connection with this "hacking story".

Bulling affiliates simply because they make their views known on this forum is not a kosher thing to do.

You say your site just had some "down-time" but don't give a reason as to what caused it. Your site was hacked by somebody who changed numerous affiliates payment emails and passwords, including mine. Because you were not pro-active about informing affiliates about the real story naturally they started talking / posting about it.

The name of this forum indicates that it is for the guarding of affiliates from unscrupulous programs, so I guess there may be a lot more posting about Aff Europe in the near future.

The relamark domain that thepogg mentioned is now suspended. So not only is this criminal affiliate hacking other sites and getting their links all over them, he has caused an innocent company's business website to be taken offline.

Hi Ashley,

This issue has been ongoing at GPWA for a good while now. I emailed Sagi about it on the 30th of August (http://www.gpwa.org/forum/urgent-al...rious-hacking-proof-219035/p2.html#post765306) but received no response.

I like you guys - I found our meeting at LAC very encouraging and it's a shame that we couldn't work out the few issues I highlighted to get you better placement. That said you are still positively listed with ThePOGG.com. The evidence of this individual's activities is all readily available in the GPWA thread and several major programs - including Betfair and William Hill have already severed all ties with this individual (there are others that claim to have, but I couldn't call them to mind off the top of my head).

I'm going to be adding 'working with partner's engaged in illegal activities' to the reviews of any program that's still working with this individual at the end of this month (October). I'm really hoping that AffEurope aren't on that list.

It won't be a specific section. I build in a Trustworthiness factor to all of my rating and this is going to be built into that section. To be honest, next to no-one I'm currently aware of being associated with VerifiedCasinos gets links from me and the couple that do don't see much traffic so my stance is unlikely to be the deciding factor for them, but housing over 600 reviews everyone who's involved with this site does have a review. I'll be adding statements to all those reviews that the casino has been 'working with partner's engaged in illegal activities', it will have an appropriate effect on the Trustworthiness rating and anyone who I do link to that is still working with this group on the 31st will find their links removed and their reviews shifted to 'Not Recommended'.

Not sure that's the point - there are hundreds of sites out there using an old version of this plugin - getting everyone who uses an old version of the plugin to update in unrealistic. Getting the small number of programs that are still prepared to work with this criminal to stop is far more achievable.

Yes i agree it's not about flaws with any plugin, it's about the integrity of casino programs who think it's ok to receive stolen goods from hacked sites. Only a certain kind of program has these low morals, so if your working with them the best of British luck to you !

That's how these site are being hacked. Outdated WP versions, themes and plugins.

These hackings are the result of a powerful CMS (WP) being given to naive and inexperienced non-webmasters. Way back when you needed to know how to code, to get a site operational, these type of hackings were never heard of. A few site defacing maybe but nothing really malicious or worse putting sites out of business.

Trying to talk reason to programs who support hackers is akin to negotiating with terrorist!

I say blacklist any program who works with criminal scum

I've just had another webmaster forward on info that strongly implies that you're happy to keep working with this affiliate and don't see it as your responsibility to take any action against partners who are engaged in illegal activities. This is criminal behaviour that you're directly benefiting from, of course it's your responsibility.

If you wish to contest this feel free to get in contact with me directly, but otherwise you'll be moved to 'Not Recommended' status on the 1st of November and it will be detailed in each of your reviews that you're knowingly working with partners engaged in illegal activities. As much as I like to play patient and accommodating, this isn't acceptable behaviour in any respect and more than ample time has been provided to establish the facts here.

If this really is your position - and right now I've nothing to say it's not - I'm extremely disappointed.

Being led up the garden path, while having one's pocket pissed in, is unfortunately, a common occurrence in this industry. Sadly, some programs/casinos will say anything to keep the dollars rolling in.
