Are social media platforms still essential?

Colleagues, I’d love to hear your thoughts: how actively do you use social media in your work or for personal branding?
Which platforms are the most effective for you?
Does Facebook still hold the lead for building connections, or is LinkedIn gradually taking over as the dominant platform in the professional sphere?

Another question—Instagram. Many use it for visual content and audience engagement, but do you see real value in this platform for affiliate or SEO? Is it worth the time and effort, considering its focus on visual content?

Facebook and Instagram are ass. I don't waste my time with those and you'll probably get banned or censored there anyway sooner or later.

Youtube and X are by far the best platforms imo. TikTok has insane potential but they are even more restrictive with gambling content than FB and Insta, so no point wasting your time there either.

If you dont have proper papers for promoting gambling content (eg. gambling licence or govermental/state approval in the US, AU, EU, UK), then forget about social media. It's pain in da ass.
