My guess KK is that Simon says has not been hit that hard or does not charge that much to affiliates (I see just a small correction for bad deposits).

For the 400 group, regal and pantasia these deductions are bigger IMO.

Although I do not entirely agree with these costs for affiliates in the end it is business and they need to survive and be competitive : I would be very sad if they had to close shop .......then we all would have to change links .....

Well yes, we are all in business. For me, the return per player sent just doesn't justify the presence on my site, it is by far the lowest of all the softwares. It would be sad to see them go broke, but I can't carry them through bad times. I run a business also.

I would not argue against them making these deductions as long as it's done fairly and all Rival casinos do the same.

For example, suppose "A Rival Casino" pays 25% commission and in November they only had 2 deposits; $100 via EWX and $100 via another method.
If the casino don't ever receive the $100 via EWX that is a $100 loss for them which ever way you look at it (i.e. whether the player won or lost is irrelevant).
Therefore it would be fair for them to charge the affiliate 25% of that loss = $25. *
(Exactly the same as if a player made $100 profit in the casino).
It would not be fair to charge the affiliate the whole $100.

* Plus Tropica have also said they have lost 10% of ALL EWX deposits since April - so they have included that in the calculations. (I assume all White Label Rivals are in the same position).

What I'm trying to establish is what % exactly of their total EWX loss they are charging us.

I sent this inquiry to the affiliate manager of a Rival brand a few days ago and haven't heard back from them yet. In the meantime, I was hoping to run it by everyone here to see if they can help explain the situation to me until I hear back from the AM.

Here is my concern (posting the exact question I sent to the AM):

Can you please explain the “Bad Deposits – No Settlement:” field in the stats below? It’s my understanding that eWalletXpress funds from Oct. 1st to present have not been received as well as reserve funds dating back to April. However, all of the activity on my account (pertaining to current commissions) was generated in November from a single player. So I am confused as to why I have a partial “bad deposit” amount. In this scenario, I should either have no “bad deposits” or all of the deposits should be “bad deposits.” Either way I do not approve (I voiced my concerns that last time the majority of Rival programs forced “processor confiscations” on their affiliates) but I would still appreciate an explanation as to how this scenario is possible.

Total Direct Commission:164.51

Total Referral Commission:0.00

Bad Deposits - No Settlement:-64.35

Grand Total Commission:100.16

Does anyone have any idea how this scenario is possible? Keep in mind this is an inactive account that has had no earnings since 12/09 (up until last month of course).
