Giving 5 casinos the size 10 up the jacksie today!
Tivoli closed down (VERY disappointing), and these 4 are a total waste of web-space (for me at least): Mr Green, Noxwin, Hero Casino & Come On (should be Come Off!).

Got a few more totally useless NetEnt based places in my sights too... Look out! ;)

After that, I can think of at least another dozen casinos who will also be seeing my boot heel.

Who are YOU booting out in your spring cleaning?

I had to cut exposure on most of the new NetEnt/multi-software sites that I added in the last 12 months. Most of them have no clue how to retain UK players. Time after time, I see single, tiny deposits, followed by no activity.

And if the player does deposit more than once, they usually "self exclude" after a few days of playing.

Yep, amazing. I mean the games are good, many are well designed with solid bonuses. Can't figure out why all players abandon after 2 days.
At start I thought that no-download makes the difference but that's not it.

Anyway, besides few NetEnts, kicked out Slotland and Slotsvendor (actually can't convert any players to WGS brands). To be honest, maybe I haven't promoted Slotsvendor enough, but just a feeling.

Well I can assure you that MOST are also clueless in how to treat High Rollers too.

Last week at BetAT, had a horrid run and dropped a tad over US$8K.

Granted I receive 15% cash back but that has a 1x wagering and max bet of $10 (go above that and wagering doubles). So really it's not cash-back, instead it's bonus back. It only becomes cash if and when wagering is met. Needless to say that $1,260 got chewed up in no time flat.

Point is, after many many months of being a loyal HR (I play with straight cash - void of deposit bonuses), I happened to get busy and missed the bank to transfer cash to my Visa Debit card. So I contact support, asking for a comp... What did I receive? 50 free spin @ $0.10 on Starburst...That a huge $5 comp... When I had a bitch and moan, they gave me $65 with a 30x wagering... Least to say I have stopped playing there. They can suck my BIG toe :D

Edit: In retrospect, I contacted 32Red (granted been a VIP for years), my account manager dropped $500 comp. Sure that has a 30x wagering BUT no game restrictions or bet hobbling, unlike what I get at BetAT and most of these NetEnt et al browser based casinos.

While these places promote fast payments and do live up to that promise, they certainly have no idea about rention, especially how to treat me, a HR...

Took off Slots Million... snip...within the last couple weeks.

After the Tropezia fiasco, then those absurd Admin fees I discover, I kicked their butt to the curb, ages ago.

I've also booted Guts, Fruity and sad to say (because I really like Lloyd) but Casino Cruise and a few others are heading for the chopping block too.

The only place I'm doing well at, with these browser based casinos is GDay & 21 Prive @ FullCreamAffiliates.

I've removed many sponsor listings and decreased exposure to many more across my network.

Some of the permanently removed sponsors include: Mr. Green, Betat, Tropezia, Go Wild, Vegas2Web & 5 Dimes.

I've decreased exposure to Ace Revenue, Gwages, StarPartner and many more.

Lucky you!
I have earned €0 at G'Day for the last 4 months...
And €0 and NO sign-ups at all at 21 Privvy for SIX MONTHS!

I nearly booted them too, but decided to give them a couple more months so I can chat to them at AAC and see what can be done...
... like HALVING their WR so they are competing with all the other NetEnts.

I've also removed listings of G'Day, Casino Cruise and 21 Prive as I didn't have any success with them.

Hi Guys,
We are aware of the issues especially in Canadian market and now to a lesser degree in the Australian market. We are currently setting up new processing for CA but it will take a month or two and a new CMS for Cruise and our new soon to be launched brand. For AU we have made significant changes and I think it's worth continuing to push Cruise in this market. Our strongest markets right now are the U.K., Sweden, Finland, Norway and German. Here the markets know and love the online casino platform and our results are excellent.

I removed Mr Green as well, after they ruined their website and broke their jackpot feed, and became unresponsive to my requests to have it fixed.

Star Games, too, after my AM Keith retroactively lowered my commission rate and refused to help with a very simple request.

Max at CM just posted a warning about Star Games here -- apparently they are going rogue. Sad, because they used to be a reputable group.

Another bites the dust! I knew something was up when they let Nicole Sims go...

Reiterating, usually for me, these browser based (mutli game provider) casinos, have been the worst performers across the board.

Every single casino has been give a min 6 month stint, on front page, just below the fold, where I have 4 recommended listings ALL with 250x250 banners and other marketing info. Slots Million for instance, were given exclusive on page promo on ALL 50 or so free play game pages, so too have others.

Yet with ALL of this, the signups tell the true story... A BIG FAT ZERO

I'm not a charity or a free advertising/branding billboard. Like these casinos, I too run a business. Times are becoming lean and I don't have the site space, to just keep giving away ad-spots for little to no, ROI. Why would I or more to the point, why should I

Are you saying zero depositors or just very little revenue from the depositors?

I think Australia is unique because it is dominated by high rollers. At least that is what our database shows so with low volume it’s hard to average into strong results. Anyhow, just a few things we do different:

1. Strong focus on personalized emails vs. generic/automated. Did you know that if you deposit $100 (first deposit) at Guts, BetAt, Mr Green, Trada, Casino Cruise and most others you will not receive a personalized email from a player/VIP manager? Well at least I didn’t. Further, players are blind to generic HTML mailers, similar to banner blindness. I bet the response rate to generic HTML mailers is less than 5%. We started sending out personalized mailers and are receiving incredible response rates, like 90% incredible. The downside is that it is hard to scale. But this could be the difference between $150 player values per month vs. $50.

2. Free chips to those that don’t deposit. We started sending $5 free chips to all newly registered players that have not deposited within 24 hours. I wouldn’t be surprised if this results in an additional 10% conversion rate.

3. Placing popular and high hit frequency games in key locations. Believe it or not I have read all or nearly all 6,790 archived chat requests at SlotJoint Casino and you would be surprised how many first time depositors freak out and leave forever after a bad session. I would say most players do not trust RNGs. So I think it is really important to engage new players with high hit frequency, low to medium variance and highly addictive games like Immortal Romance, Thunderstruck 2, Starburst, Gemix and Wizard of Gems. So we recently moved these games to top placements and gave them x2 reward points. I think this is overlooked by most operators.

Quite a few other things but the above are some recent adjustments we have made which I think are important.
