I agree with Andy here, and I bet comissions will keep coming as long as the players play. I trust Coins. If they were to end up not making good, I would figure the entire industry has gone to hell in a hand basket. Which it's actually starting to look like.

This whole thing is the DOJ cleaning up the landscape in the US to make room for the Vegas folk to enter the market. Vegas is ready.

We will see regulation soon - either this year or in 2013. Not going to happen during an election year.

Meanwhile, US choices have shrunk to a trickle. I sure hope we don't end up with the type of industry prohibition tends to create - nothing but scams and criminal elements.

VIP was a brand that they took over and CONTINUE to pay affiliate earnings on

Not me they have not paid in at least 2 yrs and emails go unanswered.

I feel for nick he is just as bummed as us, he is most prob out of a job since there is no need for affiliates anymore.

What makes this any different from what GP did yrs ago? Is it because it is all transparent? I don't know if I trust they will continue to pay us on all deposits, they may for about 2 quarters but it will dwindle away just like VIP did.

I think they should lease this software I am quite sure someone will pick it up and run with it!

The latest word on the street is that Coins is shut down but they will be looking at options to take new non-US players in the future, but for now they won't be taking any.

That sounds all too familiar for some reason...

Straight from the Meister himself...

Casino Coins No more players... ever

I don't know what will happen but I do know that I will be supporting Nick with whatever his future is. Not many worked close with him but I did and over the yrs he has made coins more of an honestly ran program, in the past it is true there were issues but he works with transparency and really stood up for affiliates.

I can remember several times when Nick was at industry events just as himself, not a sponsor nor there to do business he never pushed his company on anyone even at conferences if you wanted to talk biz then cool he would let you approach him. I like his style of affiliate managing and hope I can work with him again in the near future.

I know some are pissed off but I don't think it is fair to judge anyone at this point other then the damn US Gov.

Why oh why do some of you guys keep making this about Nick...Nick is a great guy...I think everyone agrees on that point.

The profligate here are the owners behind Casino Coins, that's it, that's all...end of story. They could have damn well acted a hell of a lot more professional here with this closure and given ample notice to everyone but they (Casino Coins Owners) did not.

A true example of a piss poor and managed program...that ain't got nothing to do with Nick though.

That's the owners fault there, simple as that.

The owners chose to screw the affiliates over, end of story.

Nothing personal Christine or anyone else reading this but facts are facts.

By the way, Connie was purdy awesome when she was there as well.

I am aware that this is not about Nick but some made really harsh statements against him and it is within my right to say what I want in his defense. It does not mean I think this situation is not jacked up because it is! The min I don't get paid I will be shouting to my players to not support the casinos!

Anyone stop to think that maybe they are acting on the advise of their lawyers and may have received some time sensitive legal docs and have to do this? These owners have families and probably love earning the money from USA but not enough to take a chance of going to jail.Casino Coins has been good to us for 5 years and like it or not nothing lasts forever not even 'lifetime revenue share'.If no new players go to the casinos no doubt over time the numbers will drop for everyone that is just the nature of our business.

Its not only sponsors who we will see slide down the slippery slope in coming months.

I talked with someone yesterday who is a fairly big player who is going to be giving gamblingwages and virtualcasino places on their website when I never thought i would see them list virtual. (Isn't virtual like one of the worst or do I have that wrong?)

On a side note: perhaps I'm just on an unlucky streak at the coins casinos but the games haven't exactly been kind the last week or two ..or maybe three.

I've not had a huge amount of bad luck at RTGs.

My son plays them (vegas techs) to some extent also and he feels the same whatever that's worth.

Someone mentioned how much worse can it get? Well not too much, there's only a handful of casinos left to push the states (that I would consider working with)

*give me a week, see another sponsor fall ... and I may be all to quick to get off my high horse ... sigh.
