Heads up for anyone on this program.

These guys have recently changed Golden Palace over to TopGame software, which they call "faster and more advanced". :D

I'll leave it up to you to decide what to make of that.

It also looks like they have closed and are redirecting all their other casinos to Golden Palace.

Also for the Guard Dog admins, this program has been called Golden Palace Affiliates for a long time now. Perhaps it would be good to update the name in the forum here to make it easier to find.

It's not the first time they've changed software without much, if any warning. They started out with MGS when they opened in 97. A few years later jumped ship to Aqua Gaming Software and then a few years later, hopped into bed with Playtech. Now TopGame - yeah that's positive a step up for sure *rolls eyes*.

Included the changes to affiliate program names, kinda spells it out right there.

Are they still owned and operated by the same people as before or did some company only buy the entire GP brand?

I asked their live chat casino support if they had been sold to a new owner and they replied "something like that". So I asked their affiliate managers and they said no, same owners. So who knows.

Maybe they changed to TopGame to start accepting US players? Whatever the case, I have never made anything with TopGame casinos.. Even affiliate managers with multiple software platforms to chose from don't even try pushing Top Game brands.

Hello, Affiliate Guard Dog users!

First of all, please allow me to introduce myself: my name is Mike and I’m the new Affiliate Manager for Golden Palace Casino and I would like to clarify a few issues found in this post:

1. Golden Palace Casino wasn’t closed / wasn’t sold to another company.
2. Starting with December 2013 Golden Palace has moved to IGSONLINE – for both gaming solution and affiliate platform.
3. Since we moved to the new software provider the only restricted countries are: USA, Costa Rica, Romania, Poland, Denmark, Israel and Ukraine.
4. We merged all the other casinos (Grand Online, Flamingo Club, Online Casino Central, and 24kt Gold Casino) under Golden Palace Casino and this will be the only brand we’re currently promoting through Golden Palace Affiliates.

All those being said, if you have any queries or questions, please do not hesitate and contact us directly:

- for any affiliate related issues, please send us a private message or send us an e-mail at affiliates[at]goldenpalaceaffiliates.com
- for any player related questions you can send an e-mail at customersupport[at]goldenpalace.com

Thank you very much,

Mike

Never heard of IGSONLINE so I looked them up and all the games look identical to TopGame to me.

Hi Vladi,

As I said, Golden Palace Casino is just using the software and the affiliate solution provided by IGSONLINE. I don't know if there is any connection between IGSONLINE and Top Game Technology. We are just one of the clients and you can imagine that we don't have access to such type of information from a completely different business entity.

Well, Mike. Firstly, welcome to AGD.

Secondly, it's this kind of stuff that makes people (affiliates, players, whoever) distrust you. You say you "don't know if there is any connection between IGSONLINE and Top Game Technology" in response to Vladi's point about the games being Top Game.

Why be so disingenuous? The games are Top Game. Just Googling any of the slots you offer would tell you that.

Hi Tryme1,

Thank you very much for your welcome.

Now, once again, please understand my position: I represent Golden Palace Affiliates. Not IGSONLINE and not Top Game. As I said, IGSONLINE is our software and affiliate platform provider; and myself as GP representative I can't and I will not give answers based on similarities and assumptions, having Google as an information resource. If you want to find more about IGSONLINE please visit the website: http://igsonline.com/

All those being said, if you have any queries or questions regarding affiliate related issues, please send me a PM or send us an e-mail at affiliates@goldenpalaceaffiliates.com and I will be more then happy to assist you.

Best,
Mike

Oh, for crying out loud. I've hardly "made assumptions" based on a Google search. The games - well, the slots at least - are Top Game. I can't quite understand why we are even having this conversation. I'm struggling to figure out why you would claim that you don't know this or why it is even an issue, but that's your business. Life's too short for this kind of stuff.

Don't even need to look to games to know that this is Topgame casino. I promote Box24 and Black diamond from Deckmedia and on them just like at Golden Palace can't register account because I am unable to enter email address (@ sign, on my keyboard it is CTRL+ALT+V). Precisely I can't register on instant play while on download everything works OK.

It's Topgame.

It looks like Golden Palace are back on a Microgaming/ Progress Play platform with a Maltese license.

I don't think this is supposed to be understood. :) The .ag casino is still Top Game, whereas the .com casino is using the Progress Play platform.

GP has always been flakey. Wasn't one or more of their founders busted/charged for fraud? If that's true, it pretty much tells the story right there.

http://money.cnn.com/magazines/business2/business2_archive/2003/04/01/339813/

Jack Stroll, for instance. A marketing whiz from Montreal, Stroll founded Golden Palace, considered the second-largest Web casino, in Antigua in 1997. In the mid-1990s, Stroll (a.k.a. Jack Strulovitch) ran a boiler room that promised respondents fabulous prizes that turned out to be near-worthless junk, Canadian authorities say. He pleaded guilty in 1999 to "deceptive telemarketing," and he and his firm paid a then-record $300,000 fine.

Albeit off topic but worth adding:

Anderson............. Online gaming, he believes, is as close as anyone has come to the much-hyped ideal of the virtual corporation. It scales like crazy--overhead hardly changes whether you have 300,000 customers or 300 million.

Overheads hardly change if you have 300,000 customers or 300 million... So much for programs trying to claim dormant affiliate/player accounts cost them money
