I have a few affiliates that I am in touch with regularly on Skype and sometimes when chatting with them I see the local time for them is after 3am to 5am in the UK.

Affiliates are some of the most dedicated and hard working people around, just make sure you don't starve yourself of sleep too much guys it's not healthy to do that long-term.

haha I usually know its time for bed when I see the sun start to come up... But once I'm asleep I don't wake up until I'm good and ready... Have always been a night person.. Never a morning person.. and while I'm up all night, I usually sleep past lunch lol... Except for when FedEx wakes me to sign for a check.. That's about the only getting up 'early' I do.

Yeah I'm more of a night-guy as well, I can't remember the last time I went to bed before midnight

I used t be a night guy also but switched to standard hours and there are many benefits from increased energy levels, better social situations and an all round better balanced life.

If left to my own devices I would totally be working weird hours and most likely binge-working (where I either work solidly for a few days or do bugger all), but thanks to my wife I actually have a very organised schedule - I work when she's at work (including her commute that gives me about a 9 hour day).

The down side is that sometimes I have to force myself to do something productive when I really don't feel like it, and other times I have to stop working when I'm in uber-productive mode, but from a health and sanity perspective I think it's definitely a good thing.

The treadmill desk sounds like a good idea though - would be perfect for when I'm just fannying around on forums or just reading email.

binge-working.. Good phrase, that is the perfect way to describe my work ethic. Once I get started I cant stop. But once I stop its hard to get started again. I will spend 3 days working non stop, and then spend the next day or two just thinking about how I need to get started again.

No, we are just regular affiliates... We do everything that you would do at normal business hours, around the clock. When you put in 15-18 hours in one day (admittedly with lots of small breaks), its really hard to avoid strange hours

We work 100% commission based, and the earnings are unlimited... The way I see it, the more work, the more payoff.

The other half of it is... for me at least. I get a late start, because I sleep in! A huge perk for being self employed.

I see, so what is it you're doing all day, writing content/optimizing/building links? It seems like if you have an established site/established player list you'd be able to put the breaks on for a little while. How long have you been doing this?

As soon as I take a break something happens. Its like the internet knows when I am working and when I am not. Mostly typing stuff to answer your question. Stuff on forums, articles about casinos, social networks posting, pinging my webmaster friends, making sure the payments went through, making and sending emails to players, making and sending emails to business ventures / associates... I am wasting time when i could be working more.

I am making a new site too so that is taking a lot of time as well since all the above is directly multiplied by the number of quality sites you maintain.
