An UPDATE:

several months ago we had a small victory which resulted in 2winpower ( 3rd party pirated games provider ) removing fake Aristocrat games ( with great help from Aristocrat guys themselves ).

But now they have new domain and are back at it again, with fake Novomatic, Net Entertainment, Realtime Gaming, EGT and Aristocrat video slots. So new warning report was published yesterday on LCB.

As always we invite you to verify our findings and write your news based on our report. If you give us a credit, we will give you a reference back as well.

I wonder why big players like Novomatic and NetEnt are not sueing them already, this is stealing.

As LCB mentioned, they feel untouchable

we can only speculate...
we tired so many times to reach out to both GreenTube( Novomatic ) and Netnet. The former would usually acknowledge our findings and do nothing. The latter would simply give us a runaround and not really do anything either.

Mind we tried several different contacts at both companies. So why once again I have to commend Aristocrat for acting upon our findings.

To sue a company where its shelf company is likely located under-a rock some place, is both costly, but worse, you'd probably not a see a single cent of that litigation, if you won. So, straight your losing, even before a court ruling.

It seem like NetEnt, Novamatic, and any other gaming provider caught up in this 'sting', has already sought legal consult, and has likely been told - sorry bud you'd throwing good cash after bad.

Blacklisting these clip-joints is about the only way your going to stop them. But, like we've seen above (and as affiliates we know), joints like this, just open a new casino and start the same process again.

Novomatic normally sues providers abusing their trademarks, like they did with Betsoft. In this case, it's unclear if they did so. Like said here, it might also be a thing of in which jurisdiction. In some cases it doesn't make too much sense to go after it.

I directed a staff writer to look into this and write something up for us. He delivered his piece today. It covers both the original threats and the newest update. Screw Burnbet

Good post and thanks for the summary...

This makes me think of.. I can't recall the whole story since I have heard it over a beer a few years ago; but wasnt it a Swedish affiliate who was shot dead in his sleep a few years back?

Yes, a poker affiliate. Case is not resolved so far, but if I have to believe the newspapers, it has nothing to do with critical reviews of crappy casinos with fake games.

It is so awful when the games are fake. It is disrespectful according to the players. I guess casinos with such games will disappear soon. Yet, many players can lose money. I always look for review of a casino at <snip>. And then I decide whether the casino is reliable and worth playing.

No, you are right. It's just that most affiliates, operators and other bransch people I know are drunk nerds who'd never use that type of language.

It's relatively cheaper and easier than ever to start an online casino. That leads to brands that are as crappy as their name, like Burnbet, Winner Million, Shitpot Casino, etc.

correct plus jurisdictions like Curacao couldnt care less about players and if their casino licensees are legit or not. They just care to grab the licensing fee etc

Granted I'm entering long after the horse has bolted, but that Dejan character, that rings a bell. If memory serves me well, it involved a Ferrari, and that being used in some marketing ploy (more likely scam). I'll dig around, see what I can find.

Thanks for the heads up Zuga. Your one of very few super-affiliates who give a Sh#t, and one of a very few who bothers to post warnings/notifications.
