It's exactly why (imo) these retroactively changed T&C's are unlawful.

Coerced Meaning - persuade (an unwilling person) to do something by using force or threats.

I'm sure any Judge in the UK court system, as in other jurisdictions, would rule in favour of affiliates, who have been "coerced" to sign these retroactively changed/altered/amended T&C's.

You'd be absolutely correct.

What you need is a copy of the Ts and Cs at the time you signed up, and also a copy of the Ladbrokes Partners / Coral Affiliates website at that time, where it clearly states that you will be paid lifetime rev share.

Download all the records from your account before they close it, so you can prove how many players you had.

And of course all the e-mails from them (or mails you have sent to them that they have ignored). Add delivery and read receipts if possible. And the hardest part, maintain a reasonable tone with them at all times.

If you have all that, the small claims court in the UK will soon become your best friend.

We had our bingo accounts closed because of this retroactive term for inactivity. Elly said: 'we’d like to stress that due to compliance issues we have faced with a number of affiliates in the past few months; we have decided to reduce the number of inactive accounts in order to minimize exposure."

All these big UK brands are not willing to negotiate or provide any leeway, that's why they are a Rogue program and they will remain as a rogue program. If you aren't promoting them make sure to stay away, if you are and haven't received a notice yet I suggest you focus on UK partners that wont screw you over.

@AussieDave - I agree, i think its the Gambling industry affiliates that have it the worst! We have to endure sub par reporting programs, stress each month about shaving and endure unfriendly terms. Its the Wild west!
