I understand the frustration of this but AGD cannot be held responsible if the program does not inform us.

Yea, I know Bonus...that's why I am holding YOU responsible! ;D

Just kidding Sweetheart...;)

If anyone happens to find out who the owner of these brands was I would sure like to know his name so I can make a note of it and never do business with him again. It's one thing to shut down if things never got rolling with the brands, but there is a classy way to do it, and then there are the pieces of shit like this guy that don't care if affiliates waste traffic for the next 2 months on them because they are not aware the program is shut down.

I hope the players with funds in their accounts don't get screwed here.

Very frustrated here too - having had an AM who was continually chatting to me on Skype and pushing for better positions on my site, I'm actually quite pissed off that suddenly he's no-where to be seen and they haven't even had the grace to send me an email to let me know that their program is closing.

I'm partly annoyed at myself too for ignoring my rule of not promoting any programs who haven't been going for a year ... but given the assurances I was given and the amount of crap (as it turns out) that was spouted at me, I thought I'd give it a shot.

So seeing as I don't know anything about this, can someone enlighten me? Has this program already closed down or just in the process of closing? Are players aleady being turned away?

And I agree with previous posters. I'm not having a go at you Andy, but some sort of procedures need to be put in place to stop things like this happening again or it's going to seriously undermine the AGD seal.

I would be open to suggestions. I really do not see any way for me to predict this. I think that if I could - I would be very rich ;)

There was no warning to us either... this was a complete surprise. I'll also say that it was a complete surprise to people who know the owners of Gamingang very well.

Again - I am open to suggestions, but I see no way to predict the closing of any affiliate program. We do quite a bit to 'Vet' the affiliate programs - I am sure more than any other place... I wish we could have forseen this happening - we surely would not have certified them.

Just as a note.. Gamingang's website does NOT show AGD's seal of certification. It shows them as a Rogue program at AGD.

Just FYI on the mail I received and posted earlier. I didn't post the entire mail but the jist is that Dennis was shocked and upset. IMO Dennis didn't see it coming either. Beyond that I don't know what happened. He didn't reply to my reply.

New programs always get this symbol in the listings at AGD:

Might be a good idea to watch for that when deciding who to promote in the future....

LOL! I love that. Check it out, everyone. ;D

Fair point - like I say, I'm annoyed at myself for agreeing to promote them.

Still can't believe I haven't got any communication from them though.

Can someone please confirm whether this program has already shut down? I can still access the affiliate backend and it still appears to be tracking traffic.

They are 100% shut down. There is no doubt of this. The decision came VERY abruptly even to those within the organization as suggested by Mojo's post.

It looks like they are changing owners now. The original owner shut down Gamingang, so this is new news:

email said:
Dear Friends,

We're writing to notify you of a few important changes regarding GaminGang and our brands.

Firstly, 50StatesCasino.com is closed. After a year's worth of feedback from affiliates, the GaminGang management decided to focus solely on our new RTG brand.

Secondly, GaminGang in currently going through the process of ownership change. Both affiliates and players have been notified of the suspended activities.

attached id the mail sent to all Gamingang affiliates:
"
Dear Affiliates,

We're writing to notify you of a few important changes regarding GaminGang and our brands.

Firstly, 50StatesCasino.com is closed. All settlement issues with affiliates have been taken care of. All settlement issues and money owed to players will be paid directly by Top Game. We at GaminGang, after a year's worth of affiliate feedback, decided to move a step in this direction to focus solely on the new RTG brand - LVCasino.com.

Secondly, GaminGang in currently going through the process of ownership change. As you will notice, we finalized all payments to date before Easter in order to ensure for a smooth and timely transition period. All download links have been disabled, therefore you do not risk losing money. This email is to give you a formalized notice and advise you to change your campaigns accordingly.

Please note that players have been notified that LVCasino.com support has been suspended. GaminGang is not redirecting players to alternate casinos.

This is a temporary situation but we predict that this changeover will take some time. We will be in contact with affiliates personally once we are back up and running. At GaminGang, our affiliates are our number one priority and we will continue to grow in order to best serve our partners. We anticipate major, positive changes under our new management and we look forward to bringing them to you in the near future.

We look forward to being in touch with you and wish you the best of luck in the interim.

Warm regards,"

Having said that, We wanted to say that we value our relationship with you and the 1 1/2 years we have worked together has been more than satisfactory. We anticipate that our upcoming changes will only enhance our working relationship and look forward to future endeavours together.

We will be in contact with you personally one we are back up and running. under new management.

We look forward to being in touch with you in the near future.

Warm regards,

Gamingang Affiliate team.

That's a crock of $hit! No one was notified, who does this bunch think they are kidding here...:p

I'm Roguing their program, their LVCasino and also their new program to come. By the time they do get back online, my links will trump theirs on the 1st pages of search engines...;D

100% agree!

I've heard not one peep from them about any close-down or changes. It's total bullshit.

Also they burned their bridges with me big-time when they cut all their loyal affiliates out of the LV launch.
That casino will not be appearing on any of my sites anytime soon.

I have not received any information from Gamingang yet and am sure I will never receive any. I just checked their affiliate site. It is not closed. You can login and even see the reports and access LVCasino banners and text links.
