Genesis Affiliates not paying comissions

so apparently there is a batch of payments rolling out on wednesday so keep your eyes peeled i contacted the senior affiliate manager on linkedin

again im the only person i got hold of was the senior affiliate manager who just told me there is a batch of payments that is happening on wednesday so its just wait and see i think as soon as i get paid im off

I am too lazy at this point to sit for 2 days to take them off completely but took off from all the main spots.

Since I code all my themes my self I have a "block-system" enabling me to remove brands from all listings with just one click. Genesis are currently on the so called "level-3" block, where their brands are not visible on any listings anymore - untill they have paid all commissions owned me.

If I do not recive them, the next level of block removes the outlinks to their casinos and adds a "we recommend you to xxx, xxx, xxx and xxx instead of xxx" - on the reviews. If I need to add them on this level of block, I charge them a "recovery fee" if they wishes to get back on my site(s).

Final level of block, from a recovery is not possible is adjusting and removing their reviews (301/full delete etc). From this level of block, there is no recovery at all and all future possibilitys for work in the future is vaniched 4life.

A bit offtopic, but after having to deal with all sort of programs, i created this code to have a simple but powerfull and smooth way to deal with programs that dont pay their affiliates.

Built on ACF (advanced costum fields) using a simple "block casino? Yes" - function on the backend and before the loops of casinos there is a "If block casinos has a value, show nothing, else show casinos as normal"

Once again, sorry for going offtopic - i take some really strong painkillers for my backpain now so i feel like walking on clouds and really really lightheaded!

Great idea. I’ve been planning on a similar setup myself. This has spurred me on to get it implemented asap. Shame it has to come to this. Why do these guys always seem to mess up in the end?

Really easy to make

Using ACF - Add a field that is visible on all your reviews and then when having a value in it = block it from showing in the listings,
kind of like this in the listings:

<?php if ( get_field( 'your_field_name' ) ): ?>
<?php else:?>

Do stuff here

<?php endif;?>

I belive this can also be done using TAGS if not using ACF - Works like a dream!

Yes, fair enough, my mistake - although someone just said they received a wire so I thought I was right before I spotted the day of the original post! An associate contacted them and was told:

Genesis said they will do some payments this week. No one knows who the finance department is choosing to pay. Each AM can submit priority affiliates and only the devil knows if finance will follow the AM's recommendations...

I recommended anyone when asked by the Genesis aff manager if they could be added back to the lists to ask for a listing fee.

Let's keep each other updated about this - if payments are recived and payment - method!

I also suggest a "recovery" - fee, to add them back on any listings if they go back to become "green". Just like casinos has admin-fees and much more, it's time for us affiliates to do the same.

I would assume it goes by months. Not sure how behind everyone, i wasnt paid since March.

Ok , So they owe me again 1.6K and this is the response I got from the aff manager:

"As you know, there is a problem with payments at the moment and there is no payment date scheduled for this, I would advise you to remove Genesis brands until this situation is resolved"

Yes, another tacit admission the Genesis Aff Prog. is broken beyond repair. The AM would only advise this if he knew, or suspected, that increasing your earnings would mean they owed you even more money that they'll never pay.

OK, this is rather odd - I checked my Genesis aff a/c just now and the outstanding June & July commissions are marked as paid yesterday 13 Sept. as well as August's! I haven't received them yet but they come from abroad and take a couple of days to appear in my bank. So if I do receive these 3 months' payments then not only have I got the outstanding late months but I'm actually up-to-date and have got last month's commission too. I'll update you on this. I will reinstate them on sites should I get this cash. Start from a clean slate and give them the benefit of the doubt. As the oldest partnership I have, I would like to think it can continue. Only time will tell.

June, July and August marked as "Open" for me.

My am also suggested me to remove their brands untill payments are solved last month when I asked for an update on this matter. I take that as a "hint" of not putting to much energy on them anymore since the numbers generated in the future would also not be paid.

Anyone else knew that Genesis are running on Everymatrix - platforms? I just checked some source-codes for some casino thumbs and noticed everymatrix in it - got me surprized, I did not know this!
