Noticed many hacked sites being returned in search results lately, all feature the same Affactive brands like this one at pianofortefoundation.org/?aussie-pokie-games
Is this an affiliate or the work of Affactive, what do you think?

Virtually impossible to tell.
Are the affy tags the same on the different sites?

Also, why would anyone think that "hacking" a totally gambling unrelated site and putting up a page with virtually no information like that would actually convert valuable players? o_O

All the other ones i have noticed eg...like this one all have different tags nelsonslocal.co.uk/online-pokie-machines-real-money.html
Maybe Affiliates who work like this just like Affactive brands.

The motivation to "hack" a non-gambling related site, one which is aged and currently holds decent serps and links is the pay-dirt, in these instances.
I wont go into details here, of why.

PS Casinonewbie you might want to edit out the URL's - why give out further links ;)

Back in 2007 -2008 many legit webmasters would buy dropped domains and put old site up and then add gambling content on the sites.Nothing was hacked but peoplemay draw conclusions because why would one casino page be on a tech site.I know guys who use to spend 100k or more buying old domains to do that.I also know the seo guys working for the 'big guys' use to do this practice .So not sure if these domains are being hacked or maybe they are all back to the old games.

Don't worry... Affactive says that this affiliate is "just doing PPC".

It doesn't really matter whether they are doing it themselves, which would be easy enough to do - just stick an affiliate tag on all the links then blame an affiliate if caught. They condone it either way. What does that tell you?

Affactive is a Certified affiliate program and you can hardly blame them .
The managers and team of affactive is probably the most honest program out there that never cheat players or affiliates, and anyone that says so is a anti-semitic wanker and only want to see them get the blame!
just my opion;)

not sure if these domains are being hacked or maybe they are all back to the old games.

Dropped domain buying is legit and likely still goes on, though probably not to the extent it was. The example posted here is a completely different game. It's definitely "hacking". If it was for example a legit dropped domain, they'd be no reason to inject an iframe or similar to feed this content from a different domain. This "hacking" is rampant in our industry. I believe webzcas and others, drew attention to this topic a while ago. Back then, it was mainly Wagershare casino content being injected into "hacked" WP sites.

Though with improvements on WP security, I think these "hackers" have started attacking easier targets.

what all those affiliate programs should do is close the hackers affiliate accounts and transfer the earnings that where made with the specific tracker to the website owner in question.
but ok that would be dreaming

Affactive has told me they've banned this affiliate the beginning of August. NO way to confirm this though.

The OP posted this screen cap on Thursday 18'th Sept 2014.

Either Affactive has not banned this affiliate or this hacker hasn't got around to removing the content.

Because I have an inquiring mind, I visited the url. The injected code inserts a hidden iframe into the hacked page: allblog.com.ua/tds/?gambling&keyword=aussie+pokie+game

Which btw has also added "Canadian Pharmacy Online"

The whois info is fudged but seems to be a dedicated server hosted at HE.com (hurricane electrics) USA. Interestingly, if you enter allblog.com.au/tds/ into your browser, it redirect to a Pharmaceutical website: health4ustore.su

The whois you can do yourself if interested.
Seems it originates from the Ukraine.

Seeing that country is in the grips of a war, I think a hacker would be the least of their concerns.

Hi to everybody,

I was away for holidays so I couldn't take care of the forum. I see several posts, sorry for the late reply.

As mentioned to one of our partners, we disabled the affiliate account at the beginning of August. We went over his sites during this month and requested to be removed from absolutely everything.

No new sites are coming up with our brands and we are requesting to be removed from the ones are still available.

No re-branding and no dark practices.

Best regards,
