Latin America’s online gambling market is projected to surpass $7.86 billion in gross revenue by 2027, up from $1.56 billion in 2023, according to a Vixio report. Brazil is expected to dominate, contributing nearly half of the region's revenue due to its newly established federal licensing system. Peru has also emerged as a key player, attracting global operators with streamlined regulations and low taxes, projected to generate $386 million by 2027. Other markets, including Chile and Mexico, are preparing new frameworks, ensuring Latin America’s online gambling industry grows five-fold by 2027 through expanded regulation and global operator interest.

I’m really curious about what’s happening in Mexico and Chile. If they roll out solid frameworks, the competition could get really intense in the region. Do you think this growth might also push for better tech and payment options, especially in areas that don’t have as much access right now?
