Since July-10th it seems that Neteller have started blocking UK players from depositing to any gaming site which is not UK licensed.
They have made no official announcement about this AFAIK, and I am still trying to get confirmation direct from them.
When I tried to deposit at a non-UK Rival casino myself to test this - the transaction was refused by Neteller.

Neteller live chat told me deposits AND withdrawals were being blocked - if this is true, then this could have a big impact on affiliates like myself who receive commission payments by this method. (Approximately half of mine comes through Neteller - most from non-UK licensed operators).

It may also stop some players from using those casinos, if they can't use their preferred deposit method.

Not sure if this is going to effect affiliates who are NOT in the UK though... ?

Can this be the reason that we hear latley more and more times from Aff programs that they having issues with neteller payments?
Just today I asked LeoVegas why Skrill was paid on the 10th and I still dont have it in neteller, they told me there are issues with Neteller which should be resolved today.
Well I got my commission to my Neteller from them about an hour ago.
Not sure if this has anything to do with it, just makes one think.

Also, last month we heard from Buffalo Partners that there are issues with Neteller payments. https://www.affiliateguarddog.com/community/threads/payment-question.8786/

Also strange, since this month I keep getting 2 emails from Neteller that I received money for one and same payment
One merchantsupport and one just from support for the same payment,
Before it is was either neteller support or neteller merchantsupport, so something is going on.

Same here also. At 1'st I thought FL had paid me double.

Take a look at them payment message, mine states:

NETELLER Transaction ID: XXX541XXX
Date: 2015-07-13T12:59:34.903Z
Message: Refund

WTF is refund?
Maybe they are having hassles too and are adding "refund" to get around the dramas. I sure hope Neteller isn't going west at programs. I have Skrill account but that's been nothing but drama for me from day one.

Given what happened to Neteller at the hands of the USA DoJ (Dept., of Justice), then maybe they don't want to risk the same thing happening again, with the UK.

And unlike casino's being able to fudge credit card codes, with Neteller they're screwed.

I'll also add... As a Neteller Platinum VIP, the quality of service etc has gone down the gurgler. They used to refund ATM fees up to $60US a month, automatically back to the account. Now... well you have to remember to contact them and request it.

In addition to the limit of $50,000 max an acccount can have in it, which is a new thing too. How do Diamond VIP manage to maintain their status, given to be on this level you have to transfer at least $2Mil a year to gaming merchants.

Just had an e-mail from a Rival casino stating that Neteller ARE blocking payments.

Same situation when PayPal pulled the pin. That was a nightmare.

From what I know Skrill was bought by rival payment provider Neteller. So, now how can we get commission payments from affiliate programs? Only by bank account?

What?? When? And where did you see this? That would be very bad, IMO.

Optimal will pay 720 million euros in cash and issue 37.5 million new shares to the owners of Skrill, valued at 135 million euros, giving Sentinel Group Holdings a 7.9 percent stake in the enlarged firm, the company said. Including net debt at Skrill of 256 million euros, Optimal said the total price being paid for Skrill is 1.1 billion euros.

We're in the right business just the wrong niche :D

Ask a US affiliate ;)

... In the US we can only receive payments by bank wires, check or where they issue a 'refund' to your bank card (pretty cool and fast.. Nothing like ewallet fast.. Just faster then a check). Now and again a program will offer western union / moneygram payments but there are limits on that as well.

Bank wire will be the future for all gaming affiliates imo.

We do promote some belgium licenses casinos and almost all of them pay only via bank wire
Also to get your money you must send an invoice with your vat ID and business name, address etc

Seems this is the future of regulated online gambling.

As of right now only one program makes me send an invoice (a bit of a pain IMO). It is a pain waiting for a bank wire.. Sure.. But think about the players who enjoy instant payouts. Having to wait days / week(s) is the real problem. Can really take a cut out of your player base.

Bank wire here in the EU is really fast, it takes max 2 business days to have the money on your bank once processed.

I believe EU and USA are very different when it comes to bank accounts. I heard lot of people in the US do not even have a bank account!??
Here in Europe, you have to have a bank account, you are simply nobody if you don't.

As a player I cashed out a few times via a wire at some online casinos, always had the money on my bank within 2 business days after cashing out.
I also see that some belgium licensed casinos do offer ewallets as payment method.

You get used to it if you have to do it more time :)

Same here in Australia, if you don't have a bank account your screwed.

With things getting regulated that produces paper trails.
Earning money that in the past affiliates may not have declared as income, will now be tracable when Bank Wires become the norm.

Yeah... Pretty much everyone has a bank account in the US... I am sure it is the same as everywhere else... Can't do much without one. If you have any type of income you need a bank account.

(I think the perception of the US is just getting really bad... lol can't say I blame anyone if i watch the news..)
