As I was busy with the sites without really networking with others in communities.

I was doing pretty okay with c-planet but before the end I was also aware of the meister's say on this and the other industry gossip.

Had regular players just vanish, not any proof that they were untagged but thought to myself at least 5-6 times how unusual it looked. The regular players life at the casino abruptly ended one too many times.

Then one day I couldn't access my account anymore and some time after that they were just gone.

Lost about $300 that was unpaid at the time and who knows how much more was lost due to this in possible untagged players and the "lifetime" revenue plan.

That was the end of that

I lost a monthly income of about 5-6k from them... Sadly, this has happened a few more times with various other programs since. Now a days I am much more picky about who to promote, and watch warnings much more closely. Still, like with C-planet, there wasn't a whole lot of warning as they where a "good" program just before that.

But they say you never forget your first time getting screwed.. and C-planet was my first.

As far as lifetime income goes, had none of these programs gone rouge I would be making at least twice what I'm making now..

This was just another RTG clip ripping of customers and those sending them players. Pretty much all of these casinos end up like that. It has been like that since the last century with these self-regulated Real Time Gaming joints.

Yes I remember the month of December, I made 20k in commission, my biggest ever! All gone on the last day of the month due to a banned player right before they went under. Thats when I started to notice things starting to go downhill. Biggest disappointment ever. But you learn..

If I see threads where people are considering to endorse new brands of ex-Affactive people I do not think much has changed at all. Of course anyone is free to make these decisions at their will but I always feel sorry for the customers.

I agree, I was hit up by one.. Actually they have sent several emails since which I ignore.. Affactive was a big problem.. I see no reason to promote anything managed by anyone involved.. Maybe it wasn't their fault, but there are enough programs available where I don't 'need' to take the chance. I don't necessarily believe the staff was in the know, but I can't be sure... While I wish them the best moving forward, I would think they may want to take up different positions, maybe in a different line of work. Any affiliate company that would hire from the Affactive staff pool, I would also question their business decision making department.

It has not been a secret since the first day of Affactive that their company was connected and operated by the same people as Gold VIP Club Casino. Those customers and affiliates who wanted to know who they are dealing with knew exactly what was going on, and even more do did those who were working for Affactive.
Nevertheless, most affiliates did not care as the program was permitted to buy certification at the big affiliate forum, they set up shiny conference booths and their brands offered good conversions.

Needless to say all of this this ended up in one of the biggest scams in the history of online casinos. -Of course sponsored by RTG.

They were never a sponsor here (AffActive or Gold VIP). CPlanet was (topic of this thread). However, we took a long time in making that decision and it was a few years [as I recall] after maintaining a sterling reputation. We also removed their sponsorship way before their payment issues AND rogued them way before they shut down because of some slow-pay issues that we felt were indicative of what was to follow.

I figure most members of this forum know where certification packages can simply be bought. Without such support groups like Affactive would never be able to establish their position.
