Hi Lots0, I actually hope (think) it will be implemented because the sooner the restrictions are forced on folks then more will realize what is going on and hopefully 'speak up' or fight against it.

It will be interesting to see what happens. ???

Have you every heard about payment system called "Webmoney"? They are extremely good for online gambling, because they just don't care about how your are wasting your money lol ;D
Oh, and they are popular! More than 10 830 000 active accounts!

The bad thing is that not many casino accept Webmoney.

Could be the nr. 2 in the portfolio cause they seem to accept online gambling and the funding/withdrawing can work via the exchanger model too. They are around for a while and very popular in russia and therefore stable. The problem is they are officially registered in moscow and the question is if they can resist the pressure from US authorities. But knowing the russian mentality something could be arranged for sure...

Yes, you are right. They are easily accpeting gambing transactions. They are also could send the money from Webmoney account to Debit Card, more info here (just remove the blanks):
h t t p : / / wmtransfer . com

As for US authorities, Webmoney even won't listen or read what they are saying. I have been using Webmoney since 2006 and never had any single problem with them. By the way, everyone could have fully anonymous account at Webmoney, without providing personal details and will have access to all options.

Webmoney also issue their own cards (also anonymous):
https : / / cards . wmtransfer . com/en

So, player could make a deposit from bank account to the card, and then make a deposit from card to casino account, I think. Well, the casino should accept US players and support Webmoney.

IMO, this payment option is highly recommended for any player.

The best way would be to approach them and tell them that UIGEA is just around the corner and ask if they are willing to take the possible "heat" from the US for handling gambling transactions...if so i am quite confident they'll be able to cope with it and it is for sure worth a try because this is probably the best run "alternative" payment method in the world and you can have accounts in USD and in EURO.

Okay, I will do that. I will send them a request, and then will provide you with their reply. Maybe it won't be very quickly, but I will keep you posted.

Just a quick update: I made a little investigate, and there is what players could do:

1. Create Webmoney account.
2. Add funds from their personal bank account (transaction won't be marked as "gambling-related").
3. Register at online casino which accepts Webmoney.
4. Make a deposit using Webmoney.
5. If they are wish to withdraw - make a cashout to Webmoney purse, and then from Webmoney account --> to Debit Card, which could be also issued by Webmoney. The funds from these cards could be withdrawn at any ATM machine.

I think it will work.

Reply from Webmoney

OK, I finally got the reply from the Webmoney Arbitrage.

Hello
We do not offer any gambling activities. Please note that it is a merchant's responsibility to block customers from restricted jurisdictions via Restricted Countries List at the merchant interface.

Saying other words, if a casino is OK with accepting players from the USA, and will accpet Webmoney deposits as well, there won't be any problem with making deposits via Webmoney.

Sounds good for me

Since Russia isn't exactly a democratic country and someone like Putin or some of the subordinate figures may find the idea quite interesting to screw over the US regime and only one word from them suffice and the US won't be able to do anything.

There is actually plenty of time to arrange something if necessary because the authorities of all sorts are usually not the fastest in their response.

Being located in the UK like quicktender/usemywallet is completely insane because given the clout that US has over UK there is actually no need to apply any pressure because the authorities over there will give in if you tell them to...
