Playamo requires to sign contract for payments

From my point of view due to the more and more tight international Anti Money Laundering rules we will see more and more of this.
Some operations are operating from countries they are maybe not supposed to operate from - or have a bank that does not know what they are really doing so they have to switch banks sometimes - which usually triggers a new contract to the affiliate to even be paid.
It's how the world is now as i see it.

So far we had all payments from Playamo (12+ months) - Only one (the biggest of course) was delayed due to a bank issue and they did not react to it before we pinged them but it was sorted out 10 days after.
So may be it, but I am still not signing anything. It's out of the question. If they want me to sign anything they will have to pay me a lawyer who can look through the contract. I am not trained in law, so I cannot sign shit just on a whim.

I work with loads of Curacao brands and none of them have asked me to sign anything. But maybe Playamo are shady as hell.

If a Curaçao brand would ask me to sign an agreement, I would think something is fishy about it. I have also quite a lot of experience with several Curaçao brands, and never signed an agreement with any of them. Also, from hundreds of MGA casinos, I can't even count the ones who wanted my signature for any sort of agreements on my left hand.

A few times we actually denied signing such contracts because the way they was writtens was 'insane'. It was that no matter what the affiliate had to 'cover' situations if users etc complained - Twice we had luck fightingt it then they suddenly could produce a super simple contract we did not need a lawyer for. But i do not know how Playamo will handle your case :)

Funny, last year I was handed over an 18-page NDA from an MGA casino, and they wanted me to sign it before promotion on a basic RS deal.

Reading the NDA word for word, knowing I will never sign it, I found sections that were pure evil! Mention of the brand on public forums such as AGD is prohibited and violating this would result in fines up to €10 000!! Not only that, they also could invoice me for something (don't remember for what) just like that.

Basically, the whole NDA was just a way for them to make an extra profit off me, if I would drop them on listings or similar.

I don´t see that casino on any sites nowadays, so i quess they only spooked away all the future affs.

This is exactly why I will never sign ANY contract. Thanks for the warning.

Btagmasters is also asking for a signed contract if we want to continue promoting their MGA casinos. For their CU casinos, it is not necessary. We work with 100+ affiliate programs so I'm afraid we need a lawyer in the future if all programs start to behave like this.

For Playamo we don't have problems with payments of contracts but the retention is indeed very bad.

No big loss. They're quite useless in terms of retention and commission. I wouldn't recommend anyone wasting their players on them. Definitely cannot be trusted.

Someone promising 65% lifetime commission knows that he lies that same moment, but you should to.
No matter how big you are, and i understand that true in your case, 65% or anything of that sort is just unsustainable

The actual commission is probably 15%, if even that. They are so shit. I worked with them for a long time and sent a whole lot of players and don't think I ever made over €1500 in spite of 50% rs. I have brands where I send an equal number of players with lower rs and still regularly make over €10k.

tbh, i am doing ok with them player value wise. but not sending much traffic so it can be just 1-2 big players that make for that.
Would probably have been even better if they didnt shave :p

Casinos can't afford to pay such RS for affs, or they closed before opening their doors. They can talk about 65% even 80, but don't forget about shave)
