We do in fact operate this on a rotating basis, and as part of certain new deals we offer a position in the footer for a period of time. This is something that helps to alleviate the concerns of some affiliates who feel it can be unfair.

the footer area of the home page is quickly in view, in this area many aff program seals stand right out to visitors, they sort of invite a click away from the site.

Have the same opinion with banners, where an affiliate seal name is also included. I use a text link instead!

My view is, I'm promoting a casino to my visitors. Not other affiliate portals et al.

In cases such as this, I ask for direct link to the signup page. This way, potential referred accounts, aren't seeing this stuff. And, if you've done your job promoting the casino, and likewise the casino has a decent signup bonus(s), then the player isn't really concerned about viewing the home page.

Once they signup and deposit, I don't care what they do after that

Hey Rachel - Nice to see your smiling face today...
I actually don't think it's unfair about the affiliate seals in the footer, i just think it's a distraction to what your casino should be trying to achieve. Other casinos yes they have them too but they are often greyed out so less eye candy to visitors IMHO
