It's the small affiliates, who, may struggle to begin with, to make min threshold.

We all not operating an LCB network, with 60+ staff. Most of us, especially newbies etc, are 1 person only ;)

I personally do not mind the $500 wire min, many times I have to pay large wire fees so to me $200 is not worth it when I lost $20 + for wire fees. They have other alternatives if you do not like wires or ACH
Do you actually not read what I and others post???!!!

@bonustreak - your NOT a small or newbie affiliate... Hence, why are you even commenting?! Don't answer it was rhtorical... Your just trying to protect the paid-sponsor, got it!

I agree with you Dave, but honestly not sure of the answer. The cost of wires are high and making them less often means the charges don't justify the payment.
The other benefit is pushing people towards crypto which is easier for everyone. I know many smaller affiliates may still be intimidated by crypto, but it's just another reasn to open a wallet

^ great in theory - but then the affil cashes out $500 from usd => $BTC and gets fucked w/ btc swings and gets 300$ lol. then they wanna trade it for FIAT , and have to pay exchange fees..

USDT is the answer for some who don't care about using exchanges, but nobody is asking the question.

An impertinent minimum payout kill for small affiliates of $300, for wire even $1,000 and on the top a negative carryover are a disgrace to this industry.

RZ what's the solution? With costs of transfers so high there is no easy answer.

Listen, I am in this industry from the very first day in the last century. This minimum payout is a scheme to rip-off small affiliates.

A serious business does not try to let the small people pay their regular costs. You have to calculate them directly into your revenue share model if you don't want to pay this basic costs of a company.

In case, programs are paying taxes, and it's an open secret, that many are in some kind only tax evasion artists, if you pay taxes, then this costs are normal costs of a business and will reduce your profit before taxes.

We all know, that 90%+ of all affiliates are so small, that they have no chance in the long run, not even in the first year, and the minimum payouts are one scheme of many to steal their money.

Period.

I am looking for partners whose brands accept players from GEOs such as: Tunisia, USA, Malaysia, Indonesia, Romania. It is important to have local payment systems for these GEOs, as well as language localization for this region. Do you work with such countries? Do you have any experience working with them?

Of all those GEOs, we only work with USA. Hope this helps

7.5% of deposits only - so if someone deposits $100 and loses the lot, the revenue we would split would be $92.5. @ 30% rev share, you would earn $27.75
If you paying the affiliate 30%, then the affiliate should only (ethically) pay 30% of the 7.5% total. Not the full 100% as you sneakily doing. Hence, the affiliate should receive 30% of $97.25 (not 30% of $92.50).

30% of 7.5% fee = 2.25%. Which is the affiliate's share of the total 7.5% fee.

30% of $97.25 = $29.32

NOT

30% of $92.5 = $27.75

Shaving affiliates for $1.57 doesn't seem much, but over the lifetime of a player, or worse, that of a whale, that $1.57 per $100 lost, soon turns into a nice nest egg, which belongs to the affiliate, not Revmasters.

  • $100 NGR - commission shaved $1.57
  • $1,000 NGR - commission shaved $15.70
  • $10,000 NGR- commission shaved $157.00
  • $50,000 NGR - commission shaved $785.00
  • 100,000 NGR - commission shaved $1,570.00
Shaved = stolen... or money taken which does not ethically belong to the casino affiliate program et al.

Edit:
@RevMasters - if the above makes no sense to you, then I suggest you re-read this post. With no reply to Roulette Zeitung direct post to you, it would seem he made the situation crystal clear.

Aussiedave

I read this post several times I must admit... A few comments:

1. Processing fees are well above 7.5% on average. It is way higher and we ignore withdrawal costs as well.

2. If a Player deposits $100, we only get into our bank account $92.5 (@ 7.5%). That is the NR from the player which is why we split that with the affiliate.

3. This isn't a matter of 'shaving', it is simply the money we make (in theory, as it is actually a lot less). We are very open about charging this, and if an affiliate isn't happy they are well within their right to negotiate better terms or even a CPA.

4. Not quite sure what RZ's post has to do with this, but he simply stated his perspective, which is his right.

Affiliate marketing is about building a relationship between the Operator and the Affiliate. Shaving is something I would never consider. If an affiliate (big or small) has an issue with a particular term then a work-around can be organised. We have numerous smaller affiliates that are unable to take BTC and we find them solutions as with others that request a lower payout. All affiliates have an Account Manager for a reason.

Pay attention, they have changed my "lifetime" commissions we agreed on.
They didnt even have the courtesy to notify me about it, not that that would make it ok. (Btw, i am fully ok with programs changing my commissions, they can change it to 1% if they want to, but they should do it for new ftds and not to existing database. )

Prior to that, I wasn't paid for a month and when asked what happened to the payment was notified that i had a chargeback, which didnt appear in the system before but was added after, that placed my account in minus. Here again no one cared to notifying me that i am not going to be paid for few months :)

I barely promoted those guys due to their history and that feeling you have when you know that certain program is not fully ok. So bottom line, they proved me right.

Bottom line: stay away or be ready for retroactive commission change and etc.

I said they were dodgy back in 2021. However, people have free-will, and can promote whoever they. I just try to advise. In the end, it usually turns out that affiliates get burnt.

Until affiliates unite as one force, these crooked programs will continue to scam/steal.

Hi MissExpose,

Thank you but there is no need for help in this case. They are aware of the case and i am not looking for a solution or for them to "return" my revenue back to what we agreed.

They did it, twice, so i am sure even if it is "solved" now, they will find a way to do it again.
