I use ahrefs to analyze competitors' backlinks, as well as to view anchor lists. Sometimes I use it for keyword analysis. very convenient interface for the appearance of new links, in the form of a calendar.

Ahrefs. Have briefly used Semrush, and I think Spyfu is so inaccurate in the demo version I would never pay for it. Ahrefs is the best tool I have ever used.

I used to use both of them. Each tool proves useful in their own way, depending on your purpose. I often use SEMrush for traffic organic analysis, keyword research, and site audit while Ahreft helps me in backlink building.

If I must choose one out of the 2 tools, I would love to pick SEMrush. Its integration capability is amazing. One of the third-party integrations is Listing Management which allows you to enter a domain and get a complete overview of the site.

I agree Ahrefs seems to be more helpful providing a wider range of useful info. That said, I haven't used semrush in over a year so idk if its changed much..

How do you find them compared to the above two? Looks like they provide content services as well as some other stuff...

I use that too, but not for the same purpose as the above mentioned. I use that too scan my sites for any issues, SEO related or technical stuff. But so far I only use the free tool and wouldnt categorize that in the same category as Ahref and SEMRush.

While both Ahrefs and SEMrush are awesome tools I found that for many webmasters they are overkill both in terms of functionality and especially price. For a more affordable and simplified version of similar tools I recommend mangools.com (used it for years) and seranking.com (i am currently trialling this one and seems promising). They both have decent competitor analysis, keyword research tools and backlink monitoring and seo auditing options which I use mostly. For me the biggest selling point is that they cost the fraction of SEMrush and Ahrefs.

I use ahrefs every day, especially for keyword research.

100% ahrefs. Right now its the most powerful tool for anything related to SEO.

Ahrefs is costly but it works pretty good. I do use semrush time to time as well.
