Hey guys just my two cents in!
I knew there was a disagreement with 888, but had no idea it would come to this.... pulling the plug on a good healthy casino makes no sense at all.
If they are diverting players to Casino-on-Net it could make sense to transfer over players from affiliates into their 888 affiliate accounts? Just saying.... I left them back before Dublin so not much I know or can do.
But as per usual if any payments are pending I will fight along side any affiliate who wishes to claim them back from the owners.
Portuguese Smoochies everyone,
Monica

Well I'm not surprised - anything connected to 888 is bad news IMHO.

I remember meeting Monica (or Vanessa?) at LAC and I said I would add SpinWin to my sites - but something in my "Spidy Senses" told me it would not be worth it, so I didn't bother - and I was right!

Of course there are positives and negatives - and due to the ratings system i'm using this has happened somewhat involuntarily - but it's posts like this that make me glad i'm promotion mostly big name casino.

That said, Bet 24 disappeared recently and i would have considered them a fairly big name.

Now I resent that..... not the fact your spidy sense tingled, but the fact you are calling me Vanessa! :p

To be honest nothing in my sense made me see this happen and trust me I have predicted some pretty good casino shutdowns, but this one was truly a surprise, specially because it was 888.

While I was there salary was in on time, I paid my affiliates on time and things were running pretty smoothly.... Sad to see it go downhill like that really and weird enough all players are being transfered or sent to Casino-on-Net...

When did they open? It wasn't too long ago, right?

This is one of the reasons why I tend to wait a while before promoting new products (with the occasional rare exception). Although this does mean you miss out on the new player rush. :/

I think a lot of start ups have investment and once they don't hit the projected results in the first year-18 months, they can't find additional capital and are forced to shut it down.

Whilst I know of a couple of start ups that will be ready by September/October, the question to ask is whether they are financially stable. Knowing the management behind the operation is key in my opinion and a factor as to whether I promote them or not.

This is strange -- Spinwin said they were closing, but today I received a spam from them offering me a 50 GBP bonus. The link goes to xhttp://www.spinwin.com/promotions/happy-hours.htm ???

I never promoted 888 and i think this was our first and ONLY dragonfish/888 casino. Are there any non-white label casinos for this software worth putting on our site? I missed the reason why 888 should not be trusted, or its been so long I forgot. Anyone with opinions want to share?

I think I should update my earlier statement in this thread. :emoticon-0145-shake

If they already decided to close shop, it is a shame that they are still trying to actively collect deposits without posting any information about the casino closure on their homepage. Some players will not be very happy about this.
