This does not seem to be the case.

My question:
Sebastian,

I appreciate you getting affiliate feedback prior to making changes.

So there will be NO changes to Vegas Affiliates terms and conditions?

Or is something yet to be finalized?

Their answer:
Yes this means that no inactivity clause will be added to the terms and conditions. With regards to the bundling, it was implemented a while ago and was not a debatable issue.

edit: After talking with VA this is what I got: Bundling has been since June, they are not going to talk about it, inactivity rule will not be implemented, affiliates will get commissions for life.

I am not satisfied with that response.

VA, do you think it is unreasonable for affiliates to expect VA to honor the original agreement, which called for lifetime residual income with no bundling and no quotas?

Quotas are off the table now (thankfully), but the retroactive bundling is still a very important issue that won't be going away until it is properly addressed.

Bundling is still very much an issue. Not talking about it doesn't make it go away. On the contrary, it makes matters much worse. Whether it was in June or March is irrelevent. It is not what affiliates agreed to. It is very serious and I hope VA will talk to us about it.

I agree 100% with not be satisfied with this response! It's bogus BS. As long as you are bunding then you are not acting in our best interest and basically stealing our earnings that you agree to pay us.

If I wanted to work for a program it would NOT be one that bundles or apply quotas.

I am not satisfied with that response.

UPDATE: I've been talking to those in the know at VA. They ARE NOT going to backdown. Bundling will apply to everyone retroactively.

No matter what I said or could do would not change this. I think it's completely wrong. The decisions seems to have been made from the top and doesn't seem to be negotiable.

VegasAffiliates: if you are concerned about bundling to cover your losses in multiple casinos, the easiest way to do this would be to operate one casino and focus your efforts on this one. Taking more liabilities (extra casinos) and trying to spread the risk over the affiliate network will not fly. There is no reason for sane affiliates to promote this structure.

This is very regrettable. The last I talked with Monica from VA (barely 24 hours ago), they sounded willing to discuss things with AGD in order to bring themselves inline with proper expectations of an affiliate-friendly organization.

I hope this hasn't changed, but it doesn't look good from what you are saying :(

I'm sincerely disappointed if they have decided not to work with us.. Last I heard, we were to talk again early next week.
