VA, can you please post and let us know what's going on with the stats? U.S. players have apparently been removed from the system. Where did they go? When will the stats be fixed?

When will the stats be fixed?

Vegas Affiliate stats have been off for over a year now ... They brought Marcia in to smooth things over and get back on the table for affiliates. Once they did that and got affiliates to give them another chance - she exited stage left.

I was promised a resolution to my year long saga, yet my stats are still IMHO fixed errrrrr broken!

Progress of US Player Stats

Dear Affiliates,

We are very pleased to announce that we have finished testing the functionality of the VA backend regarding US player statistics. All data is successfully being received.

We just have some final decisions to make. Our last big decision is whether we want to upload the data of US players onto existing brands or create two new brands that will house US data. This is being discussed at length with the Vegas Affiliate Team and the marketing team, and we can assure you that this will reach a conclusion and be implemented shortly. We expect to have these final decisions resolved by the end of the month.

We promise to keep you updated on any developments and hope you understand that any delay has been both for the benefit of affiliates and the efficient running of the affiliate program.

Kind regards,
Vegas Affiliate Team

Your VA email

Hi Arkyt,

I can assure you that the email you recieved has nothing to do with US players. Since Monica's departure recently we have had to assign her affiliates new account managers. You were under Monica, so when we assigned you a new affiliate manager you automatically were sent the welcome email.

Apologies for any confusion, I understand it must have appeared a little strange.

We look forward to speaking with you soon.

Kindest regards,
Vegas Affiliates

So new affiliate manager means I get an email as if I am a new affiliate...yes strange to say the least, but my Vegas Affiliates has been like that the last year.

"We look forward to speaking with you soon"

I'm still waiting on a resolution to numerous issues and have at least 1-2 emails that have thus far gone unanswered. Who is the eager one here?

Can you please also look into why players are being sent cd's to play in the casino in the states and then once they try they are being denied? Once player was in Illinois that is not a banned state! Furthermore how stupid it is to to send a cd to a player you have no intention of giving access to to the casino, all your doing is creating a headache and trouble for affiliates like me that run very busy forums! I hope these players are also being tracked to the original affiliate or I will be really ticked off!

If one wanted to speculate - they might consider the idea that all of our locked players will be getting CDs / Promos etc without any tracking codes.

They accomplished their recent goal - to smooth things over with affiliate communities and affiliates in general and havent truly changed much of anything.

I think its long past time Vegas Affiliates get removed from my sites! My new Fusion ProGlide will do just fine.

VA, has a decision about the stats been made? What did the team decide to do? And when will the stats show U.S. player activity again?

History repeating itself...

The last time something like this happen with VA was the affiliate program update. That took over 12 months to rectify; which never really got fixed anyway.

I wont rehash that debacle here, if you have private access to the GPWA you can it there.

All except telling those that don't have access, it was like being a cattle sale, BS was everywhere ;D

I yanked them back then. Personally if a program has to use porky pies, it's not the sort of place I want to do business with. It makes me not trust them...Because who knows what their doing that I can't see!

Cheers

Dave

US player Import

Hi Affiliates,

We are very pleased to let you all know that all US player Stats will be resolved by tomorrow evening. While we are in the process of migrating the players to their old Player ID’s your stats will display 0 for July.

When US players were converted over to the new .net sites they also received new IDs. The reason we have taken some time over this is because we needed to decide if we were going to implement two new merchants for the .net casinos, or if we were to import data into the existing ones. We decided the latter and have been mapping the US players to their old Affiliate Player ID's, meaning they will all appear under their IDs in your stats.

We apologise for the time this has taken, but we can also assure you that it has been for the benefit of affiliates and to make sure everything runs smoothly from now on and all data is completely accurate.
Thank you all for your patience.

Kind regards,

Hi,

Also, so you are all aware, June's US traffic statistics will also be updated along with July's figures being visible.

Please check your statistics this evening to ensure that both June and July's stats are visible for all of your US traffic.

Update

Hi again,

There has been an unforeseeable technical error in the live data feed, which means there will be a delay of up to 48 hours in the visibility of US player traffic in your accounts.

We sincerely apologise for this delay. We can assure you that we are working overtime to get this problem resolved ASAP.

Thanks for your patience,

US Stats

Dear Affiliate,

We regret to inform you that the figures for the US traffic do not look too positive at this time.

As we advised by mail, we have put a team in place to make sure the migration is sweetened by nice promotional offers for the US players. But as it stands we did not manage to convince all of the players to activate their account on the new platform. This is very regrettable.

We, like any other operator had expected to lose some players by the migration which we had to perform, although the extent of loss is rather larger than expected. We are, however, continuing to send out reactivation campaigns to increase the player base again and expect to see a steady increase.

Don't recall many times where a program sent out an email warning affiliates that their commissions are going to be down.

How does VA handle these "Sweet promo offers" do you deduct them from affiliates at the time you send them or the time they are actually accepted/used by the player?

I hope these players are also being tracked to the original affiliate

I don't see how that would be possible if there isn't any sort of code in the cds sent out to identify the connection.

It wouldn't make sense to just say that since we have them mapped to you with casino A that if they join the cd offer, that you will get credit for when they play at that casino, ... casino C, because what about if the player is mapped to someone else via casino B,

doesn't that figure correctly? So how otherwise would they possibly attach ownership?

Hi Affiliates,

In response to arkyt question regarding the promo deductions, deductions are only made for used bonuses.

bb1webs, players are mapped to the original affiliate. The player keeps his old log in details, therefore the affiliate tag information is reported accordingly.

Kind regards,
Vegas Affiliate Team
