Looks like the hard folk for Nov 16th, 2017 has been canceled.
Risky but you could make some money with these wild btc swings for now.
Hard to say what effect the CME group will have but btc market stability was mentioned during the interview.

A cash settled futures market should have little effect on the price of Bitcoin because it doesn't require either party to a contract to ever buy or sell any. Its just a tool for "institutional investors" to gamble, hedge, or arbitrage based on the price of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin has really taken a very disappointing dive today! Have you seen how much 1 BTC is worth in USD? :(

have you seen it today, bitcoin drops like a $1000 per while bitcoin cash almost doubles?
Tell me - I was going to cash some out at $7,600... but never got round to it...

The only good thing is, it may drop a bit lower until BP payment is sent - then rise again...
That's what I'm hoping for anyway! ;)

The money is moving fast out of Bitcoin(BTC) into Bitcoin Cash(BCH). I still have the BCH.
Which exchange is the best to sell the BCH? Kraken?

What a turn of events.

I don't know if anyone noticed today, but if you held bitcoins prior to Aug 1st, and still hold those bitcoins, you own bitcoin cash and bitcoin gold as well as bitcoin. If you add up the value of all three of them, the value exceeded $10,000 USD today.

Go to coinmarketcap.com and look up symbol BTG. It's been a low of just over $100 to highs right ~$400 IIRC. I looked at it yesterday and it was approximately $380 per coin.

There are a number of issues with the Bitcoin Gold team. However, labelling it a "scam" is a bit too much. The fact remains that no matter what the developers have done, people who owned BTC on a certain date (I forget exactly) now hold an equal amount of Bitcoin Gold and can go through a process to access such coins. If, after accessing the coins, you don't believe in the concept, simply sell them on the open market and enjoy the free money/dividend.

Saying it is a "scam" is the wrong approach. Unethical behavior surely took place, but an end user owning Bitcoin Gold can not be "scammed" and lose any money with the coins. In fact quite the opposite. They can claim coins that cost them nothing and turn them into fiat/other coins via a limited number of exchanges.

I don't want to open a new thread so I'm asking it here. Have anyone of you deposit Bitcoin into Skrill/Neteller and then made a withdrawal via Net+ or Skrill cards?

I saw that they only took 1% fee for deposits but I did not find anything related to the Bitcoin reference exchange rate.

I have heard of people getting their accounts blocked then a mound of paperwork to get them back online, if it's small amounts use localbitcoins or something similar, you can even get payment into neteller/skrill anything larger use a exchange

Thanks! Do you know what kind of paperwork they asking for? I'm fully verified, including the "selfie" crap so I can not think of anything more that they can ask for.

I never sold any bitcoin before so I am a little bit suspicious about the exchanges because after a quick search, any one of them has some negative reviews.

Can you recommend a good exchange (Bitcoin/Euros) that offer acceptable fees and quick transactions?

I guess I'm not as trusting. I looked at the BTG site a few weeks ago and the recommended wallets and decided otherwise. As far as exchanges go, coinbase/gdax and kraken are the only ones I trust. Although kraken seems unstable compared to coinbase/gdax. coinmarketcap is clean but I like the worldcoinindex layout better.

I'm sure I read somewhere that Neteller blocks withdrawals via Net+ cards for funds that are deposited via Bitcoin.

EcoPayz works fine though.
