I use Blockchain and in the US .. Is this the best?

That just seems to be a wallet from what I can tell. I did watch a video on it and like their security features. I want to buy/sell/trade.

Back in June 2016 I joined Gemini but did not get too far in the registration process as they did not accept my state. However now when I try to login in it says they now accept my state. (45 states now actually) I guess I'll look at the fees.

It is a good online wallet. You control your private keys with Blockchain.info and thus even if the site went down, you could gain access to your bitcoin by restoring your wallet, via your private keys, using another wallet software suite. Blockchain is great for convenience online. Investing in a hardware wallet is best if you are holding a lot of btc though.

Any good options on how to get $ out of the wallet if in the US? I heard Bitpay was a good option. I really don't mind just sitting on them in a wallet right now as long as they are safe!

Bitpay is great. You can get a Visa card, convert btc to usd and load that onto the card to spend directly. Fees are slightly cheaper than Coinbase too. We wrote a guide for our players to use when setting up bitpay, here's a link: http://professionalrakeback.com/how-to-set-up-bitpay-for-online-gambling

Yes, though transaction not confirmed yet, which is strange cause it was done last night.
Btw, are Betting partners casino earnings bundled?
I believe that they are NOT bundled.

And mine is also received (on the 15th) but not confirmed yet...

Fyi about Poloniex, it's a trading platform. You can trade/exchange different cryptocurrencies, but you can not cash them out to Fiat currency. They are cyrpto to crypto only.

Price cracked 5k if you happen to hold both BTC and BCH after the Aug 1 hard fork. BTC = $4,100+ and BCH = $900+

The coins are on an uptick of late. Even light-coin. I might risk $4k one of these low value crypto's. I won't cry too much over losing $4k worst case.

I agree with you. Don't invest an amount that you'd be uncomfortable losing. These cryptos are far too volatile! I don't think the market has worked out the BTC vs BCH kinks yet either. For all we know those things could flip flop any minute in popularity.

Hi slotplayer,

I think that Kraken is very safe to use and very reliable too. :)

Kraken any good?
I've been using Kraken for more than a year - and I'm not too happy :(

The suspended Btc/GBP transfers once before - then last week I got this e-mail:
In order to help mitigate the strain on our platform caused by recent exponential growth, we are delisting some of our illiquid trading pairs and temporarily suspending all advanced order types. These changes will go into effect on Tuesday, August 22 around 6 am UTC (Monday August 21 around 11 pm Pacific).

The following pairs will be delisted with all outstanding orders being canceled

  • XBT/GBP
  • ETH/GBP
  • XRP/CAD
  • XRP/JPY
  • EOS/EUR
  • EOS/USD
  • XLM/EUR
  • XLM/USD
  • GNO/EUR
  • GNO/USD
  • REP/USD
The ability to create new advanced orders will also be temporarily suspended (so you will only be able to create basic limit and market orders)

... which means I can't cash-out my Bitcoins!
I'm currently looking for another exchange good for £GBP.
Anyone have any suggestions?
