Subject: Important information regarding Class 1 Casino

> We regret to inform you that Class 1 Casino has temporarily stopped accepting deposits and bets from all players, coming into action on October 11th, 2011.
>
> This is a result of unilateral action of Playtech without any prior notice and at the same time grave breach of the contract from the side of Playtech. Throughout this action, Playtech has decided to shut down gaming servers and prevent all gaming activities in Class 1 Casino.
>
> Class 1 Casino management has put a great amount of effort in resolving the matter by agreeing, but unfortunately with no success. This has taken longer than primarily expected, therefore we are informing you about this unenviable situation only now.
>
> We are still taking legal actions in order to restore the gaming activities back to normal.
>
> We understand your frustration on limited amount of information given throughout the past week from our side, but we wanted to make 100% sure that we have tried everything before alarming players and affiliates.
>
> Further to the closure, we have already settled all obligations towards our affiliates and their earnings for previous months and we are in the process of handling players who, by the time of the closure, had positive balance on their casino account.
>
> We would like to apologize for any inconveniences and we are kindly asking you for your understanding. We sincerely hope that we will be able to cooperate again in the future and thank you for all your support in the past years.
>
> With regards,

The Italian market was their most important source in terms of revenue.
They were hit by the new legislation in Italy (same is valid for all licenses of Playtech). Without a license they cannot accept Italian players. Currently William Hill Casino and Titan Casino are the only brands powered by Playtech with a license issues by AAMS. I guess this is one of the main reasons for leaving the business.

We are still taking legal actions in order to restore the gaming activities back to normal.

From the above statement/s it doesn't look like they have simple closed shop on their own premise.

IMHO there has to be more to it than Playtech just closing the gaming servers to Class 1 Casino. Hell, Joyland and other clip joints operating Playtech software have been allowed to continue without any interference from Playtech, so I have to wonder what Class 1 have done to get the gaming server switch flicked ???

Hmh.
They said in that email that past month's commissions have been paid.
But we had around a few dollars over 100$ balance for October.
Wonder what's happening to those. Have emailed them, haven't heard anything back.
Does anyone have a working contact info for Class1 affiliate manager. MSN, Email, Phone?
Would be appreciated.
Not that we'd chase them until eternity for a 100$.

I would like to think that Playtech cut off class1 for no reason... but I just don't believe it.

If playtech did cut them off, in my experience it would ONLY be for non-payment of fees owed to playtech.

I still think class1 will be re-branded.

Wasn't it rebranded to Class1 from the previous name of Maxima? Yet another fine gaming establishment

Yup that is exactly why I believe they will do it again.

The re-branding from maxima to class1 worked so well for them last time.. they were able to leave behind and forget about all those pesky debts they owed to players and affs.

Can anyone trust anything this outfit says, given their shady history!
Yup... I would not believe anything the folks at maxima/class1 said.
After all they are known thieves and liars.

It's on a dedicated server (IP: 217.73.56.59) and from what I can tell it's the only domain on the server.

While I was at it, I took a look at class1casino.com (IP: 77.234.137.126), it's sharing that server with:

c1casino.com (reditects to class1casino.com)
duxcasino.com (times out)
gamble4ever.com (some lame landing page which downloads their casinosoftware from class1)

Checked out the software an installed it, all went smooth right through the sign-up process. When I attempted to login in however it sh#t itself. A message popped up that the casino was conducting maintainence, yeah right!

Ethically not a good sign they're accepting sign-ups when they offically do not have an operational casino. Very scetchy indeed

Edit: checked out 1class-casino and there is some funky login console operated by finstrum.com (Russian Based). Visiting the site it's a web wallet of sorts. One of the rotational images featured a roulette table. And this page basically tells it all:
xxxhttps://finstrum.com/en/spend-voucher.html

I dare say your supsicions are correct Guru.

Nice sleuth work there, mate!

What's the bet they've tried to scam Playtech and lost?

Comment i simply cant ignore

At the risk of temporarily derailing this thread again - but i simply have to set the record straight here.

These comments by you Lotso i simply can not ignore

If you believe that windows casino has changed ownership since 2004 when Mark and Tony Friedman sold out.. you are sadly mistaken.
Yes they put on a 'new' face, but the people that were were running windows casino are still there... Once a Rogue... always a Rogue.

Do you have any proof of this - because i was very involved in the sale and handover of the Casino and it moved from Budapest to London . So if you have any information on those two fictional characters you quoted - then let me know.

As for the below comment -
And I used to promote the hell out of windows casino/wager junction... Till I realized that they were shaving and shorting me...

I ran that Affiliate program for a long time - i ran it when Windows was taken over and we sorted out and made sure every single affiliate got dealt with correctly on the RTG affiliate program. You show me a single affiliate who can claim they were scammed or not paid for traffic that they sent . Go on show me . You really have made this personal now by making these bullshit claims and i can literally feel myself getting hot under the collar.

You are a passionate guy - but your forte is US traffic - and when Windows moved to Playtech - they did not take US traffic - you and many other US affiliates did not do well with them - that was a painful transition that i also oversaw. For you to come on here and accuse me of being a thief and the people who turned this Casino around is a step to far for me.

If you have proof - present it or button it - making accusations like that can land you in some serious water. I am telling you this for your own good really.

The people who own Windows are very upstanding people and not a single person on my watch ever , and i mean ever got shafted . I believe that the same ethos exists to this day.

Just because you have not done well with them does not give you the right to slag them off and make unfounded accusations.
